With Rust’s recent Naval update came the addition of new ghost ship monuments. These mini-monuments come in three separate forms, each featuring different style decks. All of the ghost ships are also full of high-tier loot, deadly Scientists, and even hackable crates for you to plunder. Follow along as we teach you all about Rust’s ghostly ships.
Seven to ten of Rust’s ghost ships randomly generate each time the deep sea opens. The stationary vessels can be spotted in the distance using binoculars; however, you may need to increase your draw distance to see them. They can be unveiled on the map once uncovered behind the fog of war, marked by a small ship steering wheel.

There are several entrances to Rust’s ghost ships, with the main being two ladders and a large ramp known as the stern, found at the back of a ghost ship. Each side of every ghost ship also features two sets of ladders with various patches of mountable netting.

Inside each of the ghost ships is a variety of loot stashed along the shelves of the storage hull, along with an average of 6 enemy Scientists per ghost ship. Each ghost ship has the possibility of containing a hackable crate, sitting at about a 10% chance. A few additional loot spawns can be found scattered about the deck and bridge of the ships
