Rust Salvaged Axe and Medical Syringe Receive Remodeled Looks

After years of waiting, the salvaged axe and medical syringe have each received new high-resolution models. The new looks come with Rust’s April Spring Clean update, which brought a variety of content, including many quality-of-life features. Rust Salvaged Axe Remodel

The new salvaged axe remodel comes after 12 years, with the tool originally being introduced back in 2014. The remodel offers a clean and crisp look with detailed smudging and rust. The resolution and texture quality of the salvaged axe are much higher while still fitting in with the original look of the game. The axe also received a set of fluid animations to match its quality look. With the new look and animations comes skins for the Salvaged Axe as it has finally become workshop skinnable. It joins alongside the Salvaged Icepick, which received its first skin back in 2016.

Rust Medical Syringe Remodel

The salvaged axe wasn’t the only Rust item to receive a remodel, as the medical syringe has also been given an updated look. The new model brings a vibrant, simple, and polished aesthetic to the medical item. Reduced visual clutter increases the visibility of the item’s green cross. A new set of animations adds a much-needed refresh to another Rust item, which hasn’t received a texture or animation update in 12 years.

That covers both of the remodels included with Rust’s Spring Clean update. The models bring a fresh look to items that haven’t received changes for over 10+ years.
