Rust’s November Pivot or Die update added a ton of new quality-of-life features to the game. One of those features happened to be a new deployable item known as the Mini Fridge. How to Get The Mini Fridge in Rust

If you’re looking to get your hands on Rust’s new Mini Fridge deployable, you’ll first have to research it. This can be done by finding one in high-tier monument loot and researching it for 15 scrap, or by crafting an Engineering Workbench and using its tech tree to unlock the blueprint.

How to Craft The Rust Mini Fridge

Once you’ve researched the Mini Fridge, its recipe is quite simple, only requiring 50 metal fragments and either a Workbench Level 1 or an Engineering Workbench to craft. The craft time takes from 15 seconds at a Workbench Level 1, all the way down to 3 seconds at a Workbench Level 3.

How to Use Rust’s Mini Fridge

Once crafted, place the Mini Fridge wherever you want to begin using it. Use a wire tool and provide the fridge with a power source, with the fridge requiring two power to use. Afterwards, fill the 18-slot deployable with any food of your choice to completely stop all spoiling timers, keeping your food fresh.
