Rust’s Harder-core Update has added its most detailed DLC yet in the form of salvaged gear left behind by a crashed fighter jet. The Rust Pilot Pack DLC gives you all the equipment you need to roleplay as an aviator, including skins for clothing, a weapon, and several deployables. The DLC even introduces an item skin for the code lock, which has never before been skinned.
The Fighter Pilot’s Flight Suit is the first item from Rust’s Pilot Pack and introduces a full-fledged pilot outfit skin for the hazmat suit. Unlike the Arctic Hazmat, the Pilot Suit has identical stats and crafting costs as the default Hazmat Suit. The skin itself features all the proper equipment for a pilot, including goggles, a respirator, and a rig full of equipment.

The M15 Semi-Automatic Pistol is by far the most sought-after item from Rust’s Pilot Pack DLC. The weapon skin fully replaces the Semi-Automatic Pistol with a sleek, crisp, and modern M15 pistol. The weapon is much smaller in appearance and features small glowing iron sights, giving a slight visibility advantage over the default pistol skin.

Keep your data (or, in this case, loot) secure with the Black Box Storage Container. This bright orange deployable skin for the wood storage box is designed to be a flight recorder with small glowing lights and even text that reads “FLIGHT RECORDER DO NOT OPEN”. The skin has the exact same colliders as the wood storage box, so despite it looking smaller, it will not save you any space.

Prepare for takeoff with the Rust Pilot Pack’s Salvaged Ejector Seat. This scrappy throne has been ripped straight out of a fighter jet, taking the aircraft’s wall with it. Two missiles, which are rigged to small yellow handles, are strapped to each side of the chair. Similar to the default chair, the Salvaged Ejector Seat provides 100% comfort to any player seated in it.

Finally, we have the Flight Control Codelock, which serves as the first skin ever for the deployable. The item is functionally the same, with green and red lights indicating the status of the lock, along with a small keypad to input your code. The codelock takes on the appearance of a flight control panel with various vanity switches and even a big red button.

That’s all of the items added by Rust’s Pilot Pack DLC. If you want to purchase the pack for yourself, pick it up inside the Rust item store for $12.99. If you enjoyed this article, be sure to check out our others, such as the Legacy Wood Wall & Gate DLC added in Rust’s July update.
