Rust Legacy Wood Wall & Gate Pack DLC

A new Rust DLC, including Legacy Wood High External Wooden Gates & Walls, has been added with July’s “Friends With Benefits” update. The skins apply to the wooden high external walls & gate, respectively, providing a rustic frontier-themed appearance. The items also each provide a huge advantage, which we will explain as we dive deep into the Rust Legacy Wood Wall & Gate Pack DLC.

Rust July Update Overview

Rust Legacy Wood External Gate

The Rust Legacy Wood External Gate is the first of the 2 skins you’ll receive from the bundle. Wooden planks are nailed together, forming two rectangular doors, which are tied to the large wooden frame by bundles of rope. The gate uses an alternative design to the original, replacing the barbed wire top with a large walkway. The walkway is bordered by two large guard rails, which can be used as peeks once accessed. Overall, if you find yourself constantly being online raided, having the peeks over an extra layer of barbed wire defense can come in handy.

Next up, we have the Rust Legacy Wood External Walls. These walls connect to the gate and are made of the same materials, with planks, nails, and rope holding everything together. Barbed wire lines the outside of the wall, while wood planks extend past the wire, making the walls much more difficult to climb compared to their default counterparts. Finally, each wall also contains a walkway allowing you to connect them together and form a large pathway of peaks around your base.
