In this month’s Rust update, the new Exhibit Decor Pack DLC was added to the game, introducing 15 new decorative items for Rust players to spice up their base with. The plethora of new items gives players everything they need for a cozy base, including clothing mannequins, plenty of new light sources, and even wallpaper.
The first and possibly most unique item added by Rust’s Exhibit Decor Pack is the Clothing Mannequin. The Mannequin, which goes by Manny for short, can be crafted for 100 Wood and 50 Metal Fragments. It can be equipped with any armor, clothing, or backpacks and placed into one of 16 available preset positions.

The Wall Cabinet is another useful item added to this Rust DLC that can be crafted for 250 Wood and 50 Metal Fragments. The cabinet can be attached to any player-built wall and holds up to a total of 18 items. The small cabinet can even be powered, lighting up the room with its integrated lighting.

Both the Fabric and Leather Beanbag Seats serve as a skin to Rust’s already existing Chair. The fabrics mix a colorful blend of patterns together, creating a comfortable-looking seat. The leather takes on darker colors and gives off a firm and professional look.

The Fairy Lights are a great alternative to the marketable Deluxe Christmas Lights added for one of Rust’s seasonal events. The bright yellow lights can use a total of 5 power and can be strung together across the base however the player pleases. The green color of the cord gives the lights a fresher and more natural appearance.

The Bulb String Lights are very similar to the Fairy Lights, but instead string together large incandescent lightbulbs. The lights are perfect for a warmer aesthetic, offering a soft orange glow anywhere you place them.

Take your lighting to the next level by using the modifiable Chandelier, also added in the Rust Exhibit Decor Pack DLC. After being crafted for 100 Metal Fragments, the Chandelier can be installed onto any roof and light up for a total of 4 power. The chandelier can even be interacted with to be raised higher or lower off the ground.

Two types of spotlights were also added with this Rust DLC, including a normal standalone spot light and a tripod spotlight. Each takes 50 Metal Fragments to craft and 4 electricity to power. The standalone spot light can be mounted to walls and placed on shelves, giving you plenty of angles to work with. The tripod spotlight gives a boost to the light’s height by placing it on a small wooden tripod.

Fluorescent Lights come in two forms and serve as an extremely cheap and effective light source. Both the ceiling-mounted form and the standalone form cost 50 Metal Fragments each. The ceiling form comes as a skin to the Ceiling Light, requiring 2 power, while the standalone version requires only 1. Each light glows bright white, serving as a more professional and corporate light source.

The Electric Table Lamp is a sustainable, electric-powered lighting option that can be placed on both floors and shelves. Despite taking electricity, the lamp itself is made out of an old oil can and a dusty lampshade. The simple lamp can be crafted for 50 Metal Fragments.

Last but not least are the three Cozy Wallpaper with one paper for the floor, wall, and ceiling, respectively. The floor is a dark black shaggy carpet, while blue hexagonal tiles wrap around the walls, and shiny yellow stars dot a wooden blue roof.

That’s all of the items added by Rust’s brand new Exhibit Decor Pack DLC introduced with September’s Maintenance Update. You can purchase this Rust DLC for yourself from the Rust Item Store for $12.99. If you enjoyed this article, feel free to check out our other coverage of The Pilot Pack DLC added last month.
