In Rust’s recent Common Ground update, the new Apartment Complex monument was added. The monument featured three tiers of apartments for players to rent: basement, standard, and penthouse. The standard apartment serves as a great middle ground, perfect for solo players. In this blog, we will show you everything you need to know about Rust’s standard apartments.

Rust Standard Apartment: Renting and Upkeep Price

The standard apartment serves as a massive upgrade over the basement but comes at a much higher price. The apartment costs 150 Scrap to rent initially, along with a 50 Scrap daily upkeep cost to maintain it. However, it is well worth the cost, containing a decent amount of amenities. A total of 39 standard rooms are available in the complex for players to rent.

Rust Standard Apartment: Amenities

Rust’s standard apartment features a variety of amenities for renters to enjoy. The apartment features a water sink and a 3-slot stove for cooking raw meat. A telephone is available to make calls. A full-sized fridge allows you to store fresh food. A bathtub and a toilet are installed in the bathroom, each providing 100% comfort when using them. A full-sized locker allows you to store up to three kits. A tier 1 workbench gives access to crafting low-tier items. A single bed grants a quick respawn back in the apartment. Finally, a standard furnace allows you to slowly smelt any uncooked ore.

Rust Standard Apartment: Total Storage

The standard apartment has over double the storage of the cheaper basement apartment. In the kitchen, there are three sets of cabinets, each serving as a Large Wood Box. The bathroom features two sets of smaller cabinets, each with 18 slots. While the bedroom features its very own large wooden box. The standard apartment totals 282 available storage slots.
