Rust had its monthly update on the 3rd of July, introducing the brand new “Friends with Benefits” update. The update brought many quality of life features to make meeting your friends in-game easier, including the brand new Party System. Rust’s Party System allows you to easily group up with your friends, load into a server together, and even share a spawn point, all with little to no effort. So let’s get into how you can take advantage of this new system.
These additions are part of Rust's "Friends With Benefits" Update
Before you can experience the benefits of Rust’s party system, you must first create and join a party with your friends. To create a Rust Part,y you first must open the friends menu located in the bottom right of the main menu. Next, right-click on a friend to open a context menu with a couple of different options. Then, select invite to party, giving the chosen friend a prompt to join your party. Finally, once everyone has joined the party, you’re ready for action.
Now that you’re in a Rust Party, you can begin to experience its benefits. Simply connect to a server, and it will begin to connect all other party members and load the party in together. Once you spawn in the server, you’ll wake up on the beach next to your party members and be automatically placed into a team together. Afterwards, any future spawns will be completely scattered and random.

That’s everything you need to know about Rust’s Party System. If you enjoyed this article, be sure to check out our other articles covering Abyss Pack DLC Additions, also added this month, or leave a comment letting us know what to cover next. See you next time!
