Rust Abyss Pack DLC Additions

The Rust Abyss Pack DLC has recently seen its catalog expanded with the introduction of 3 new skins you’ll now receive for owning the bundle for no additional cost. These items aim to expand the Abyss Pack and increase its value while also benefitting players who already own it. The original Abyss Pack included only a Hazmat Suit, tools, and a torch skin, all of which you can check out here. Follow along as we cover all the new additions to this classic Rust DLC

Rust July Update Overview

Sunken Combat Knife

The Sunken Combat Knife was the first of the additions to the Rust Abyss Pack. It was added back in April as part of the “Soft Refresh” update. The skin itself is an ancient blade that has rusted down to a husk of its former self. The blade is covered in holes and dirt, while a once intricate pattern wraps around the now rusty handle. While it may look feeble, the Sunken Combat Knife will still serve its original purpose on the battlefield.

Abyss Horizontal Storage Tank

The Abyss Horizontal Storage Tank is the first of the two additions made to the Rust pack. The barrel features an identical hitbox, crafting cost, and storage size to all other barrels, costing a total of 300 wood and 75 metal fragments while holding up to 48 items when accessed. While they may cost more to craft, barrels take up less space, making them more efficient than their Large Wood Box competitor.

Abyss Vertical Storage Tank

The Abyss Vertical Storage Tank is an alternative variant to the horizontal version. It has all the identical benefits of the other barrel added by the Rust Abyss Pack, but is flipped on its side for easier storage management in tight spaces. Each of the barrels is made of rusted copper, covered in barnacles, seaweed, and netting. Overall, these storage tanks are definitely worth checking out if you still do not own your own barrel skin in the game.
