In today’s article, we will take a look at the recent CS2 update patch notes announcing CS2 returning to CS:GO recoil camera motion. A common complaint amongst the community was CS2’s poor appearance, in contrast to the smooth shooting of CS:GO. With this recent patch, we are finally seeing changes we all can enjoy!
Overall, this patch is a major quality-of-life update. The largest points to be mentioned would be the return to CS:GO like recoil camera motion, though not CS:GO bullet trajectory that remains standard with CS2. This is an absolutely massive addition that thousands of players have been asking for quite a while now. Overall, CS2 recoil and spraying are much smoother, a perfect reminder of that smooth CS:GO gameplay we all love and miss.

A somewhat controversial change in this update is the increased likelihood of experiencing aim punch. Simply put, aim punch moves an individual’s camera when external forces affect the user. Additionally, minor changes of the recent Animgraph 2 system were noted, but nothing major enough to be expressly mentioned.
Simple patches like these are exactly what the community loves! If Valve keeps this up, CS2 ratings will be through the roof in no time. If you have enjoyed this article and would like to see more updates covered, feel free to show your support in the comments below!
