In CS2, Blue Gems come from Case Hardened skins with specific patterns that, when inspected, show the largest amount of blue on the playing side (or either side) of that particular weapon. From blades to automatic weapons, here’s every CS2 skin with a Blue Gem pattern.

Bayonet | Case Hardened Blue Gem

The first knife on this list is the Bayonet, a relatively affordable option compared to most, but in a Blue Gem pattern, it also commands a high premium. There are fewer than ten Blue Gem patterns for this knife, with the best and most complete one being #179.

Bowie Knife | Case Hardened Blue Gem

A simple knife with an awesome animation, the Bowie Knife is one of the highlights of the Operation Wildfire case, where the Case Hardened variant can be found. There are a number of pattern seeds that have significant blue coverage, such as #29, #182, and #358.

Butterfly Knife | Case Hardened Blue Gem

The Butterfly Knife is one of the most popular, most sought-after, and most expensive skins in-game. That level of prestige only grows with having one of the best Blue Gem patterns on the blade. #182, #194, and #330 are the Case Hardened patterns to chase in terms of blue percentage for this skin.

Classic Knife | Case Hardened Blue Gem

A throwback to the old days of Counter-Strike, the Classic Knife is a fan favorite, especially for the more veteran players. The best Blue Gem pattern when it comes to both the playing and back sides is #316, but honestly, most of the Blue pattern seeds are incredible for this blade.

Falchion Knife | Case Hardened Blue Gem

Found only in the case of the same name, the Falchion Knife isn’t one of the most expensive skins in general, even compared to other Case Hardened skins. Still, a Blue Gem pattern can make anyone’s head turn. The undisputed top exact pattern for this knife is #494, with a perfectly even coat of blue on both sides.

Flip Knife | Case Hardened Blue Gem

One of the oldest skins on this list, the Flip Knife is one of the hardest Blue Gem skins to unbox, not only for the rarity of the cosmetic itself, but also for the rarity of the cases that contain it. Most Flip Knife Blue Gem patterns are heavily focused on the playing side, such as #321, #151, and #555.

Gut Knife | Case Hardened Blue Gem

The Gut Knife is really one of those skins that only stand out when the design is incredible, unlike knives such as the Butterfly or Karambit. No matter the opinion on the blade itself, any fully blue Gut Knife would do numbers on third-party marketplaces. #165 is one of the best patterns you can obtain for this specific skin.

Huntsman Knife | Case Hardened Blue Gem

The Huntsman Knife suffers from having a number of incomplete blue sections on the blade itself across many variations, which is really the only problem in an otherwise exceptional skin. Pattern seed #703 stands out with the amount of blue coverage compared to others.

Karambit | Case Hardened Blue Gem

One of the greatest knives ever released in the game, the Karambit is an instantly recognizable figure within the Counter-Strike community. Without a shadow of a doubt, the #387 pattern is the #1 Karambit | Case Hardened skin of all time.

Kukri Knife | Case Hardened Blue Gem

One of the newest knives in the game, the Kukri Knife has gained some favor with the community for its unique pull-out animation and overall design. Pattern #494 is widely considered as the best Case Hardened finish for this blade, featuring a scar pattern near the handle.

M9 Bayonet | Case Hardened Blue Gem

The M9 Bayonet is one of the best knives in the whole game, and if you were to put them into a tier system, it would fall in the S Tier for sure. When it comes to Case Hardened finishes called Blue Gems, some of the top patterns are #417, #601, and #150.

Navaja Knife | Case Hardened Blue Gem

The Navaja Knife is always the cheapest option on any marketplace due to its design, and even being in a Case Hardened finish doesn’t knock its price up significantly either. Still, Blue Gem patterns exist for this blade and are sought after to an extent. The Navaja Knife | Case Hardened in the pattern seed #838 is completely covered in blue on both sides of the blade, making it the best Blue Gem pattern for this knife.

Nomad Knife | Case Hardened Blue Gem

The Nomad Knife isn’t really a blade you’d hear much chatter about or even see in a game, which makes its Blue Gem variants all the more rare and underrated. The best Blue Gem for this knife is pattern #456, but others, such as #55 and #577, look incredible as well.

Paracord Knife | Case Hardened Blue Gem

The Paracord Knife is another skin that’s slept on within the community and really gives you great value for money with its design and animation. In terms of Blue Gem variants, pattern rankings for the Paracord Knife have #316 and #403 at the very top, with the amount of blue areas seen on the blade.

Shadow Daggers | Case Hardened Blue Gem

Shadow Daggers are unique in the sense that they’re the only knives in the game that appear dual-wielded, but they’re also far from being fan-favorites either. There aren’t any Shadow Daggers that feature solid blue coverage on both blades, so the closest thing to perfection would be from pattern #56.

Skeleton Knife | Case Hardened Blue Gem

The Skeleton Knife’s animation is truly one of a kind because the weapon model itself has no comparison. This makes it a worthy pick-up for low-to-mid-end collectors with any kind of finish. When it comes to Case Hardened patterns, #403 is the best Blue Gem for this knife.

Stiletto Knife | Case Hardened Blue Gem

The Stiletto Knife looks a lot like an ice pick, and if you ever find yourself with a Blue Gem variant, you’d have one pretty expensive ice pick. Pattern #182 on the Stiletto Knife is absolutely perfect on the playing side and has only a small amount of gold on the opposite side tip.

Survival Knife | Case Hardened Blue Gem

CS2 Blue Gems for the Survival Knife look incredible, since there are so many that cover more than 90-95% of either side of the blade. Pattern seeds #403 and #456 are nearly perfect on the playing side, while #577 has a very even distribution, being almost fully-coated finish on both sides.

Talon Knife | Case Hardened Blue Gem

If you want a knife that can spin around your finger but can’t really afford the Karambit, then the Talon Knife is definitely the one for you! Blue Gem variants for the Talon Knife are incredible to look at, and on top of the list is #55 with a perfect playing side (minus the completely gold backside anyway).

Ursus Knife | Case Hardened Blue Gem

Last but definitely not least for Case Hardened skins when it comes to knives is the Ursus Knife. Blue Gems for this cosmetic offer evenly spread amounts of blue on both sides of the blade, giving a wide range of options compared to others. The best of the bunch, however, is none other than pattern #494, which has a half scar near the handle.

Hydra Gloves | Case Hardened Blue Gem

The only kind of gloves in the entire game with a Case Hardened variant, the Hydra Gloves are incredible pieces to look at when equipped. Patterns #221, #310, and #399 have great distributions of blue on both sides of the gloves.

Five-SeveN | Case Hardened Blue Gem

Moving towards the weapons themselves, the Five-SeveN | Case Hardened is one of the cheapest Case Hardened skins you could buy, regardless of whether or not the pattern shows a Blue Gem. Pattern #363 on this weapon is considered the best due to its scar pattern near the edge of the barrel.

MAC-10 | Case Hardened Blue Gem

The MAC-10 suffers from having incomplete Case Hardened textures, even from the skins listed on any pattern index as Blue Gems, which means that the top pattern seeds still have significant amounts of gold spots visible. #349 and #667 have the best distribution of blue across the body of the weapon itself.

AK-47 | Case Hardened Blue Gem

Saving the best for last, the AK-47 | Case Hardened skin line is home to the single most iconic Blue Gem pattern seed in history. #661, referred to as the AK-47 “scar pattern” Blue Gem, is extremely rare and considered a million-dollar skin by just about everyone. Simply put, it’s the greatest Case Hardened skin in existence.
