5. IEM Rio Major 2022

Rio was a fantastic event that showcased just how passionate the South Americans are about CS2! At its peak in viewership, this major had over 1.4 million viewers! The winner of this major was the famous team, the Outsiders. Not only was this major fantastic, but its winner makes it just as unique as a more prevalent team that did not win, making a true underdog story! The most viewed match of the Rio Major was the game between the mighty Brazilian team FURIA and NAVI, in which the viewership peaked!

4. Blast.tv Paris Major 2023

The 2023 Paris major holds a special place in every CS:GO player’s heart, as it was the final CS:GO major. Known for a somewhat humourous trophy, this major displayed much of what the community believes in. Watching a famous player, ZywOo, lift that trophy with hundreds of cheering fans surrounding him was truly a sight to behold. Not only did this major leave a lasting impact on the game’s history, but it also had a peak viewership of over 1.5 Million fans! Truly, the Paris major will never be forgotten.

3. PGL Major Copenhagen 2024

Being the first of all CS2 majors in history, without a doubt, the community waited in anxious silence to see how this major would perform. Of course, like all Counter Strike majors, this event was exciting and featured the third-highest peak viewership of any major! Peaking at over 1.8 million viewers, this event will surely go down in counter-strike history as one of the most excellent majors. The Copenhagen major did have its struggles, though, as anti-gambling protesters rushed the stage, causing a massive misplacement in the catastrophic major. Still, the CS2 community, being as great as it is, fought through it and powered to make this major the fantastic event that it’s known as today!

2. PGL Major Antwerp 2022

This major had one of the most exciting grand finals in CS:GO history! Its peak viewership, over 2.1 million fans, is insane compared to almost any previous major. Featuring group stages that were absolute examples of how talented players can be, this major fought to the final match as hard as possible. Not only did it have great entertainment with the famous FAZE Clan winning, but this major brought forward a ton of amazing stickers and brought many players to light. Having some of the top teams in the world till the last round, the Antwerp Major will undoubtedly be in Counter-Strike History for decades to come.

1. PGL Major Stockholm 2021

PGL Major Stockholm is the highest-viewed major of any previous major; this event was out of this world, with a staggering peak viewership of over 2.7 million people. NAVI, a fantastic team, took this lead in the grand final and dominated G2, beating them 2:0! On top of that already extraordinary occurrence, PGL Stockholm was one of the final majors world-famous S1mple ever played!
