In the newly released Built Different update, a new collaboration began between Rust and Discord with the introduction of an in-game Wumpus Plush. This follows after a collaboration last month brought with it a Rust game store directly inside of Discord, where players can easily purchase and gift Rust DLCs.
To find the Rust game store inside of Discord, first head over to the Shop tab on the Discord app’s homepage. From there, select Game Shops from the top bar and select Rust. This will allow you to view all of Rust’s DLCs, including the new Wumpus Plush, with the ability to purchase and gift them.

The Wumpus Plush will be one of the first items you see inside the Discord x Rust shop. It is tagged by a Discord-exclusive banner, making it easy to spot. Once selected, the plush can be purchased or gifted for $3.00. Make sure you have the correct Steam account linked to Discord, as it will send the skin to whichever account is connected. DLCs may also be wishlisted, giving friends and other Discord users the ability to view and directly gift the wishlisted item to you.

The Wumpus Plush can be crafted inside of Rust using 50 cloth. It does not require a workbench to craft and only has a craft time of 1 second. Once crafted, the deployable can be placed, granting 70% comfort to any players standing near it.

That covers everything you need to know about the new in-game collaboration between Rust and Discord. If you’re looking for an alternative to the Wumpus Plush, feel free to check out our blog covering the Youtooz Plushies added with a former collaboration. See you next time!
