A new Rust DLC released in collaboration with Warhammer 40000, bringing elements of the Warhammer series to Rust’s hardcore environment. The DLC introduces a total of six skins, ranging from clothing to deployable boxes. Follow along as we cover the entirety of the Rust x Warhammer 40,000 DLC.
The first skin added by the DLC is the Krieg Hazmat Suit. This suit is styled after a Krieg soldier, featuring a classic Krieg gas mask attached to a respirator, worn over a large blue trench coat. The hazmat features a metal helmet and two large shoulder pads fit with skull insignias signifying allegiance to the Death Korps of Krieg.

The Krieg Large Backpack from the Rust x Warhammer 40000 DLC pairs perfectly with the Krieg Hazmat Suit, completing the look of the set. It has a similar look to the Krieg Hazmat skin’s default backpack, but with an entirely different set of equipment. The brown leather bag is fitted with a mug, copper wire, a radio, and other detailed items.

The Krieg Shotgun skin applies to the Pump Shotgun and features a rotary barrel fitted with eight total shotgun shells. The weapon is made of metal, featuring a wooden stock and handguard, along with a golden skull insignia. The gun uses entirely custom animations and sounds, making it by far one of Rust’s most detailed weapon skins.

The Krieg Chainsword is the only skin ever added for Rust’s chainsaw. The custom model converts the harvesting tool into a full-blown sword fit with pristine metal, golden insignias, and a sharp animated chain. Similar to the Krieg Shotgun skin, the Krieg Chainsword features entirely custom animations and sounds, making it an extremely high-quality and unique skin.

Krieg-style storage barrels also come with the Rust x Warhammer 40000 DLC in two separate variants. The horizontal variant comes in the form of a damaged, large blue crate. The vertical storage barrel is made of a repurposed green oil barrel with a golden double-headed eagle insignia on the front.

That’s all of the items added by the Rust x Warhammer 40000 DLC. If you want to pick the DLC up for yourself, it is purchasable inside the Rust store or on Rust’s Steam DLC page for $12.99. If you enjoyed this article, check out our Rust RPG Launcher DLC Overview. See you next time!
