Case Hardened Blue Gems Explained

Blue Gem patterns are an extremely rare subcategory of Case Hardened skins within CS2, featuring a large blue coverage on the skin. Each Case Hardened skin has a unique pattern, and the best patterns are what the community considers to be Blue Gems.

The AK-47 Case Hardened Blue Gem Pattern #661 and the Karambit Case Hardened Blue Gem Pattern #387 are the most valuable CS2 skins of all time, with valuations in the $1,000,000+ range, and as a result, they are also considered the best Blue Gems in the entire game.

Top Hydra Gloves Blue Gem Patterns

These five Hydra Gloves Case Hardened patterns are considered to be the absolute top patterns when it comes to Blue Gems for this skin. They feature the highest amount of blue on both the front and back side of the glove, with only minimal yellowing and other forms of blemishes.

Pattern 221 suffers from having a significant amount of yellow on the palm side of the right glove, but it’s otherwise an impressive-looking Blue Gem. Pattern 829 has the same problem, but this time with an almost completely yellow palm side on the right glove. Patterns 310, 399, and 505 have the best distribution of blue on both hands.

The Tier 2 patterns for the Hydra Gloves Case Hardened present way more blemishes, particularly in yellowing, compared to the five Tier 1 skins. That being said, a number of them still look great and could even be considered low-Tier 1 patterns.

Some of the best patterns include #294, which is brought down a tier by the lack of color on the left side of the left glove, #314, which doesn’t feature major yellow spots and instead has a couple of blemishes spread out, and #941, which has an even distribution on both sides.
