CS2 Premier Season 4: Everything To Know

CS2’s Premier Season 4 has launched, and with it comes an abundance of content for players of the game to experience. This includes a rotation of the competitive maps, additional community maps, new weekly care package collections, and even changes to the Armory. Anubis Returns To Competitive Play

The biggest change in CS2’s new premier season is the removal of Train and the addition of Anubis into CS2’s competitive map pool. Train was the least played map in premier so even though it was just recently added, its removal wasn’t surprising. Several changes were made to Anubis to help it be less T-sided, mostly consisting of minor adjustments to the bombsites and mid.

New Community Maps

A new set of community maps also rotated in with CS2’s new premier season. The maps Stronghold, Alpine, and Warren are available for Competitive, Casual, and Deathmatch modes, while both Poseidon and Sanctum can be found under the Wingman mode. The maps are extremely interesting, featuring high details, unique designs, and even easter eggs, pushing the Source 2 engine to its limits.

Weekly Care Package Collections

Two new weekly care package collections were also added in two jarringly different styles. The Harlequin collection features a vast variety of colorful skins stretching across the entirety of the color palette, while the Achroma collection is almost entirely black and white.

Harlequin Collection

The Harlequin collection skins feature repeating patterns, animal themes, and floral designs, and are overall stylish additions. The best available skin is the classified M4A1-S | Party Animal.

Achroma Collection

The Achroma collection features abstract colorless designs with splashes of light purples or occasional hints of browns. The best available skin is the classified AWP | The End.

New Limited Edition Item

The AK-47 | Aphrodite was added with the new CS2 Premier Season as a new Limited Edition Item in the Armory. The rifle features a pearlescent finish with golden metallic paint covering the receiver and barrel of the weapon. The handguard, magazine, and butt stock of the AK-47 all feature Mother of Pearl accents.
