T Side on Nuke is generally considered one of the most challenging aspects of Counter-Strike, primarily since the map is known to be pretty CT-favored. With that, players on the attacking side have had to get extra creative to limit CT’s vision and increase their odds for both indoor and outdoor combat.
Numerous T strategies revolve around heavy utility usage, especially when trying to secure key positions like Outside, which is usually contested with at least two smokes thrown from close to T Spawn, or even a quick pistol round HE Grenade to Squeaky Door for a quick B rush.
A Site executions are pretty much a staple in matches of any skill level when it comes to Nuke, given the difficulty of even getting out of Squeaky Door or Hut alive. CTs will always have the positioning advantage on A Site since they will always have the higher ground, making it much more difficult for attacking players to clear out angles.

Molotov lineups targeting the common bomb plant positions on A Site alongside other heavily-used CT spots such as the top of Hut are great in setting up a more favorable gunfight, as this kind of utility usage forces the defending side to quickly relocate.
Heaven is also an important location to clear out if the goal is to disrupt potential AWPer positions, especially during rounds where the CTs have a clear economic advantage. Smoking off Mini/Main is also a big play to block CT vision, especially when attempting to plant on the bomb site.

B Site on Nuke is a whole different challenge from the upper site, since there are not a lot of openings to get utility lineups through. As a matter of fact, most utility that the Ts can throw on B Site come from simple point-and-click actions towards common hiding spots.
When it comes to post-plant situations, the most common areas to focus on blocking off should be Single/Double Doors and Ramp. Smokes work wonders, especially in larger areas like Ramp and Double Doors, to stall enemy advances, while Molotovs towards Single will sometimes even lead to complete relocation due to the smaller size of the area.

Unlike most maps, Nuke does not have a designated area called “Mid” – but there is an Outside. Various spots can be found here, such as T Red, Garage, and Secret, and can be an alternative way to get into either bomb site.
Outside players controlling the area are asked to always have utility ready to throw, and on the Terrorist team, it’s usually a matter of smoking the cross all the way to Secret. A successful smoke wall is the most solid defense that an attacking team can pull off to avoid long-range engagements against CT players already holding positions over such an open area.

Extra smokes or other forms of utility can also be thrown to Garage, completely blocking off the potential that CT AWPers are camping there, and even the area surrounding CT Red. Disrupting CT defenses on Nuke is arguably as important as it can get on any map, given the advantages that playing on the defending side naturally has, so good team coordination and execution of utility-focused plays will go a very long way.
