Rust Twitch Drops “Rivals Base Invaders” Event

A new Rust Twitch Drops event is beginning on October 8th at 3:00 P.M. EDT and running all the way until October 13th at 3:00 A.M. EDT. A total of six drops will be available to people who link their Steam account to Twitch, with an exclusive Large Backpack drop being available only on October 8th.

Twitch Rivals Bandana

The first drop added to the game by the Rust Twitch drops event is the Twitch Rivals Bandana. It can be earned by watching any Rust stream with drops enabled for 1 hour. The bandana is entirely purple with a thin black rim and white “Twitch Rivals” text.

Twitch Rivals Poncho

The bandana also comes with a matching Twitch Rivals Poncho after watching an eligible Rust Twitch stream for 2 hours. It uses the same bright colored purple fabric bordered by a thin black rim, and even has the white “Twitch Rivals” text on the front.

Twitch Rivals Crossbow

The next Twitch Rust drop added by the Rivals Base Invader event is the Twitch Rivals Crossbow. After watching a Rust Twitch stream for four hours, you will earn the bright purple bow. The weapon follows the same Twitch Rivals theme as the previous skins, with unique cloth wraps covering each of the crossbow’s limbs.

Twitch Rivals Semi-Automatic Pistol

Keep watching an eligible Rust Twitch stream for 4 hours to receive the Twitch Rivals Semi-Automatic Pistol drop. Similar to the Twitch Rivals crossbow, it brings the same black and purple theme, applying it to the tier two pistol.

Twitch Rivals Garage Door

The final drop you can earn by watching any eligible Rust Twitch stream with drops is the Twitch Rivals Garage Door after watching for 5 hours. The item is themed around the Rivals Base Invaders event and Rustoria servers, pairing the server host’s classic panoramic background design with Twitch Rival’s purple and black color scheme.

Twitch Rivals Backpack

The final Rust Twitch Rivals drop is the Twitch Rivals Backpack. This backpack is the exclusive drop available only on the Twitch Rivals channel on Wednesday, October 8th. The black backpack uses a simplistic look with purple accents and purple text reading “Twitch Rivals”, forever embedding the event into your inventory.
