With Rust’s recent Shipshape update, a new DLC was added, adding a variety of resource-themed organizational storage boxes for players to purchase. The new DLC includes 16 separate Rust skins for the Large Wood Box, each labelled and themed around the type of good it’s meant to store. It seems the developers have taken a page from the book of community skin creators, who have created organizational box sets in the past. Each box features a themed design based on the materials it is meant to store, with LED text labelling each box. Follow along as we cover every item skin added with Rust’s storage box pack DLC.
The first skin added by Rust’s Storage Box Pack DLC is for storing ammunition. The green box is meant to recreate the look of a military ammo crate. Bullets can be spotted sticking out from the sides, while loose duct tape sticks to the top.

A box was also included with Rust’s Storage Box Pack DLC to hold all armor and armor-related items. The armor storage box is a large black metal trunk secured with brown leather straps.

The charcoal large wood box is made out of a mixture of refined metal and charred wood, giving it a rustic look. It is still fit with large LED lights, marking it as “CHARCOAL” for organizational purposes.

The clothing large wood box pairs a wooden frame with a chain-link body while tatters of cloth wrap between the links. A sewn pocket on the front of the box holds scissors and other small tools.

The components large box is made out of a variety of components, giving it a colorful appearance. Road signs and sheet metal form the body, while a thick layer of tarp wraps over the top of the box.

The explosive box is the most secure out of all the boxes included with Rust’s Storage Box Pack DLC. It is made of a thick layer of metal, featuring a decorative lock and caution markings.

The food large wood box is cleverly made to appear like a shopping cart. The box is fitted with a metal grate, blue plastic framing, and metal shopping cart handles. Sadly, the box isn’t refrigerated, and stored food will spoil.

The guns large wood box is directly forged from pieces of Rust’s arsenal. Stocks from the assault rifle glue to the sides of the box while barrels of weapons forge the box’s lock. The base of the box is forged of green wood and grated metal.

The meds large wood box is good for storing medical syringes and other medical items of that type. The box is made of a plastic material with a green bottom and a white top. White crosses can be spotted on the corners of the box while LED text reading “MEDS” runs across the sides.

The metal large wood box is made out of rusted layers of metal bolted together, as well as chain-link fencing and electrical components. The box is marked by LED lights reading “METAL” to make its purpose clear.

Another organizational box included with Rust’s Storage Box Pack is the Ore Large Wood Box. The box is made of wood planks and metal sheets roughly bolted together to keep its contents in place.

The scrap box is made out of large chunks of roadsign bent into a frame with chain-link fencing filling int the body of the box.

The frame of the stone large wood box is made of neatly carved mossy bricks. Chain-link fencing fills in the body of the box while its visual contents are empty.

The sulfur large wood box is made out of rotting wood cracking and breaking to expose a layer of the explosive material underneath.

The tools crate takes on the appearance of a large red toolbox. A metal wrench is taped to the front of the box, marking the type of contents it is meant to store alongside the LED lights, reading “TOOLS”.

The final large wood box skin added to the game with Rust’s Storage Box Pack DLC is the Wood organizational storage box. The box is made of large wooden logs that fit together with rusty nails and twine.

That covers all of the large wood box skins included with Rust’s Storage Box Pack DLC. The boxes offer an alternative to existing organizational box collections, which are incomplete, some unobtainable due to Twitch Drops, and others expensive, allowing players to organize their base on a budget and save space. Let’s see if the developers add future DLCs for organized doors or small storage boxes that can be placed on shelves.
