Rust Item Store: Rust Skins Weekly Rotation Review (12/25)

The Rust item store has rotated, introducing a second week of winter-themed skins for the game’s Season’s Beatings event. A total of thirteen new skins have entered the store, including weapons, clothing, and deployables. Follow along as we cover each and every one of these new Rust skins.

Gingerbread Raid Garage Door

The first skin added to this week’s Rust item store is the Gingerbread Raid Garage Door by Kostya Che. The door features an army of angry gingerbread and snowmen charging through the snow with weapons and explosives. Christmas lights, snow, and festive decorations surround the door, completing its holiday look.

Frosty’s Chest

Next up, we have Frosty’s Chest by Cubist. This transparent Large Wooden Box skin creates the look of a snow globe with frozen over glass sides. Inside the red and gold box are small decorations, including Christmas trees, a snowman, and tons of snowflakes, granting the skin a unique look.

Christmas Route AR

The Christmas Route AR by SunArt shows Santa as he makes his journey across the North Pole through a large train. The tracks span across the weapon with festive houses and a starry night sky serving as a backdrop. The weapon is yet another detailed Christmas skin added to the Rust item store.

Scarf Poncho

The Scarf Poncho by Soloha is perfect for staying warm in the cold winter weather. The red yarn scarf wraps around the player’s shoulders with white decorative ends drooping across the chest. A large blue snowflake sits on the front of the poncho as a neat final touch.

Chocolate Bar Door

BOSSkin’s Chocolate Bar Door is a great base addition for players with a sweet tooth. The bar is wrapped in festive red, green, and gold wrapping with Santa and Christmas tree designs stretching across it. A tear across the paper reveals a corner of the brown chocolate bar, completing the Sheet Metal Door skin’s design.

Gingerbread Man SAR

The next Rustmas skin in this week’s Rust item store is XENON’s Gingerbread Man SAR. The weapon is forged entirely out of the spiced cookie with even smaller Gingerbread Men and houses dotting the side of the gun. Candy dots and icing hold the cookies in place, while sturdy candy cane-style metal rings wrap around the barrel.

Gingerbread Rock

The Gingerbread Rock is a simple yet silly skin designed by ICONA entering the Rust item store. The rock is made out of the face of one of Rust’s Gingerbread enemies, with icing and candy dots creating a large face on the front of the boulder.

Neon Snowflake Small Box

Oasis’s Neon Snowflake Small Box uses an all-black design fit with colorful, glowing neon lights. The lights form several different Christmas symbols, including bells, trees, snowflakes, candy canes, and even a wreath. The skin pairs perfectly alongside the rest of the Neon Snowflake collection.

Ice Vortex Bed

The Ice Vortex Bed by Shedmon features a frozen-over design with an evil carved face into the center of the bed’s mattress. Glowing Christmas lights wrap around the bed, while icicles hang from its dark frame. Overall, the skin brings a haunting vibe to the Rustmas season.

Gingerbread Bow

The Gingerbread Bow by PHASE is perfect for fans of the dessert, being forged entirely out of a large piece of the cookie. Icing designs travel down the sides of the bow alongside colorful dots and small gingerbread men. The bow is topped with a candy string, adding a final festive detail to this primitive weapon skin.

Ginger Bread Wooden Double Door

Yet another Gingerbread style skin joins the Rust item store with the Ginger Bread Wooden Double Door by s314noza. The double doors are made entirely of gingerbread material, with a layer of icing creating a Christmas tree along with other designs across each side of the door. The double door skin fits perfectly with Ginger Bread Wooden Single Door released last Rustmas.

Xmas Blast DBS

Fried Chicken’s Xmas Blast DBS is the perfect way to wake up your neighbors on a holiday morning. The shotgun uses two large candy cane barrels, bordered by reflective white metal and lined with a thin layer of gold. Festive symbols such as Christmas trees, berries, jingle bells, and red ribbons are placed around the weapon, granting it its detailed winter theme.

Christmas Candy HMLMG

The final skin entering the Rust item store this week is Diazz’s Christmas Candy HMLMG. The large LMG is crafted almost entirely out of gingerbread with icing holding the candy pieces together. A candy cane barrel sticks out the front of the weapon, while similarly styled bullets fall down the side. Icing covers the sides of the weapon, creating colorful and festive designs.
