Rust Item Store: Rust Skins Weekly Rotation Review (05/8)

It is the second Thursday of the month, and a new Rust item store comes around with it. Eight new items find their way into the store, including new jungle-themed items for Rust’s recent update, along with other weapons, deployables, and clothing. Get ready as we cover all the new skins entering the Rust market.

This Week’s Rust Item Store

Jungle Tomb Sleeping Bag

The Jungle Tomb Sleeping Bag is the first skin added to the Rust item store. Cepesh created the bag, which is made of stone and covered in moss. The skin has a gritty, realistic look, allowing it to mesh perfectly with the new jungle biome.

Heat Seeker AR

The Heat Seeker AR by Veys features a beautiful artwork of a large tiger roaring as it sticks its head out of dark bushes. The skin is lovely, orange and purple, perfect for the night, and has bright green accents.

Aztec Garage Door

Next up in the Rust item store is the Aztec Garage Door, originally created by Horameow. This door uses mossy brick outlined in jade snakes to create an Aztec theme. The mossy texture pairs perfectly with the new Jungle Stone building skin. The glowing door has a giant torch painted onto the bottom of it, lighting it up.

Croco DBS

Lurk in murky waters with the Croco DBS added by this Rust item store. Little Ranger designs the weapon and converts the handmade shotgun into an enormous green crocodile with large yellow eyes. The shotgun skin is stockless and does not glow.

Aztec Rock Door

The Aztec Rock Door forms a 1:1 recreation of the Jungle Idol Rock added by the new Jungle Pack DLC. Lodi created the Sheet Metal Door skin, another great deployable to pair with the Jungle Stone building skin.

Tropico SAP

The Tropico SAP gives the Rust item a tropical finish. It features a large blue toucan whose long beak stretches across the barrel, while a large green leaf covers its body. The SAP is colorful, making it the perfect purchase for bright inventories.

Jungle Bite Python

The next skin in the Rust item store is the Jungle Bite Python. The fourth Python revolver added to the game this year continues this week’s jungle theme with its reptile look. Overall, the Jungle Bite Python by Azi is the perfect Python skin for the game’s new biome with its green and yellow design.

Predator Sword

The final skin added to this week’s Rust item store is the Predator Sword by Robstar. One of the game’s more unique salvaged sword skins, it converts the blade into a sharp machete decorated in tiger fur and teeth.
