How to Use Rust Sprays

To access the eight new sprays added by the Rust Graffiti Pack you will first need to craft a spray can which only requires a measly 100 metal fragments. With the spray can in hand, simply just click to view and apply sprays. If you happen to run out of durability, it can easily be refilled at a repair bench.

Preset Rust Sprays Included in the Rust Graffiti DLC

Rock Spray

The first of the eight sprays added by the Rust Graffiti Pack is the Rock Spray. The spray is of the player’s in-game rock which has been coated in blood. The mixture of white and red is outlined in black, finishing the look of this scary spray.

Hazmat Spray

The second spray added is of Rust’s hazmat suit drawn in a graffiti style. Only the red head of the suit is visible with the iconic cracked glass face shield looking straight at the user.

Beancan Spray

Threaten your opponents using the Beancan Spray added by the Rust Graffiti Pack. It centers the beancan in the middle of the spray, surrounding it with a bright yellow explosion. The text “BANG!” is written in brown, warning of the explosives’ dangerous potential.

Target Spray

Place down a target to practice your aim with the Target spray. The graffiti is a simple arrangement of black, blue, red, and yellow rings wrapped around each other in the shape of a classic target.

When’s Whip Spray

The When’s Whip Spray is a reference to the common spam used by Rust players to ask when a server’s wipe is. The yellow and black “WHENS WHIP?” text is drawn in a street art style and is layered over a purple background.

Facepunch Spray

The Facepunch Spray is as simple as it sounds. The spray is just the Facepunch logo, a small circle with two crossed out eyes drawn inside of it painted in red spray paint.

Candle Hat Spray

The Candle Hat Spray shows a Rust character wearing the candle hat helmet while staring off into the distance. The candle on top of the hat is lit with a small orange flame, while the rest of the spray is outlined in a thin, small blue line of paint.

Frog Boots Spray

The eighth and final spray added by the Rust Graffiti Pack is the Frog Boots Spray. The spray consists of a green frog rain boot that was originally given to players who purchased Rust before its full release. The frog boot is outlined in yellow to accentuate the look of the boot.

Freehand Drawing

The biggest thing added by the Rust Graffiti Pack is the ability to freehand draw with the spray can. By selecting the freehand draw option listed in the sprays menu, you can then choose a size and color and then draw to your heart’s content. Paint a mural on your base, an X on your raid target, or even decorate a monument, the world is yours with the ability to freehand draw.
