Fighting players can be effective at times, but simply going back to the roots of the game and fighting CS2 bots is a perfect way to improve. Bots provide an easy yet effective practice method that can be used when playing against other players becomes frustrating. Today, we will show you how to spawn bots in CS2 and other bot-related commands!
Bots can be spawned in a practice match or workshop map in a couple of different ways. All of which will require the developer’s console to be enabled, so be sure to do that!
If you have the enabled developer console, simply choose between these methods when spawning bots in CS2:
(Bot_add Ct): This simple command will add a bot to the CT side of your practice match

(Bot_add T): Just like the CT command, bot_add T will add a terrorist bot to the match

(Bot_place): This command will play a CS2 bot wherever your crosshair is looking. This can be useful to practice certain peaks or angles within a practice match

Now that you have these bots spawned, it’s important that you know how to control them, too! Here are a few helpful commands you can play with to get that practice match just right!
You are now officially a CS2 bot-spawning master! Spawning bots in CS2 can appear too easy for most players, but in reality, the small and simple steps will lead to the most improvement, so don’t give up on simple training environments like this!
