SkinLords CS2 Updates Explaining the Weekly Missions in the CS2 New Update

Experience progression in Counter-Strike 2 can get relatively slow sometimes, especially when one does not play that often in a week or even a month. After the boosted XP gain per week, it becomes hard to go up the ranks since the gain becomes exponentially slower until another set of days has passed. With Valve’s new Weekly Missions, you can complete an objective every week, adding substantial experience to your current level.

In Valve’s leading example of a CS2 weekly mission that rewards XP, winning 15 rounds on the map Grail in Competitive game mode will award you 900 additional experience on top of anything else you can earn normally. The Weekly Mission expires every week, and only one mission will be available to complete in seven days until it resets with a brand new objective.

How Does “Mission Possible” Improve The Game?

One of the in-game items that dedicated CS2 players chase every year is the Service Medal, which comes in a variety of colors depending on how many times you have unlocked or upgraded it. To obtain a Service Medal for the year, one must have reached Level 40 at least once to unlock it for the first time. Repeating this will turn the Service Medal into a different color, which signifies a higher tier of “prestige”. The new CS2 Weekly Missions will speed up this process and allow even the highest-tiered colors to be obtainable by the most competitive players.
