In this article, we will take a look at the new Souvenir-O-Matic system and how it works. A stark contrast from how Souvenir Packages worked in the past, the new Souvenir-O-Matic system will take some getting used to, but it might turn out to be nice as we, the community, get used to it.
Unfortunately, as of the Cologne 2026 Major, no more Souvenir Packages will be released in CS2, making the Budapest 2025 Souvenir Packages the last to be released. This will not erase any previous packages; it simply takes effect for all current and future majors’ events. Replacing the old package system will be the new and supposedly improved Souvenir-O-Matic system.

This brand-new system makes huge changes to how Souvenir skins will be added to the game. Where before packages related to specific packages were purchasable using tournament coins, or through specific matches and map-specific collections, now Souvenir skins can be made from any skin, regardless of collection, condition, or quality.

Using the Souvenir-O-Matic system is quite easy; simply take any weapon of normal or Souvenir quality in your inventory and select a completed match and one of the players from that match. Skins used will be permanently turned into a Souvenir with gold team, autograph, and map stickers applied. You can view the Souvenir before completing the transaction is completed. You will obviously need a viewer pass, whether premium or regular, in order to redeem this system and craft new Souvenir skins. Weapon skins used can be Souvenir or regular; either way, any stickers previously found on the weapon skin will be replaced with the newly chosen Souvenir stickers.
This system is most definitely different, but we have a lot of hope for what it can become. Imagine all the insane Souvenirs that can now be crafted! If you have enjoyed this update coverage or have opinions on the new Souvenir-O-Matic system, feel free to let us know your thoughts down below!
