CS2 Austin Major 2025 Update

As the date of the CS2 Blast Austin Major inches closer and closer, with the first game beginning June 3rd, the developers have finally added the Blast Austin Major Update. The update adds optional Viewer Passes, sticker capsules, and souvenir packages to help support the 32 teams attending this year’s major. Prepare as we cover all the new content added to the game in this recent release!

Austin Major Viewer Passes

The CS2 Austin Major viewer passes come in two forms, similar to previous majors. The first version cost $9.99 and comes with the basic viewer pass, granting you a major coin, temporary team graffiti, coin challenges, and more. The other variant comes for $17.99 but also includes three souvenir coins, allowing you to obtain 3 souvenir packages from any match of your choice. The Austin 2025 Viewer Pass is required to complete coin challenges and earn souvenir packages from the Pick’Em Challenge, however, you can participate in the challenge for fun if you wish.

Souvenir Packages

Souvenir Packages can be obtained during the duration of the CS2 Austin 2025 Major event by redeeming any owned souvenir coins on the match page of your choice. As mentioned before, souvenir Coins can be purchased outright for $2.99 or earned for the Viewer Pass. Seven souvenir packages will be redeemable, one for each of the 7 maps in the current competitive map pool. Choose between the Mirage, Train, Dust II, Ancient, Anubis, Inferno, or Nuke collections.

Graffiti

Once you’ve acquired a Viewer Pass, a team graffiti can be chosen from inside the Pick’Ems menu. You can choose to represent any of the 32 teams participating in the major, change the graffiti anytime you wish, and have unlimited uses during the duration of the major. Once the Austin Major has concluded, the graffiti will then be removed from the game.

Team Stickers

Each of the 32 teams attending the CS2 Austin major has its own sticker in paper, foil, holographic, and gold forms. Foils mark their return, replacing the previously used glitters and sharing a similar border to the gold style. Eight team stickers sit in both the Challengers and Legends capsules, marking their positions in Stage 2 and Stage 3 of the major, while the 16 teams in Stage 1 of the major bracket flood their way into the Contenders Capsule.

Player Stickers

Every player entering the CS2 Austin major will also have their own sticker placed into an autograph capsule. The stickers use identical borders, slowly upgrading as they increase in rarity. In total, 160 players will receive an autograph sticker signed by themselves, so that their fans can directly support them and their team.
