A Review of All Rust Longsword Skins
The Longsword is Rust’s strongest melee weapon, featuring extremely high damage and range at the cost of its slow swing speed. It does 150 damage on a headshot, meaning it is able to take out a player in a hazmat suit in one swing. The sword requires 200 metal fragments, six metal blades, and a tier 2 workbench to craft. With only six skins to choose from, here is a review of Every Rust Longsword Skin.
Aztec Macuahuitl
$9.29

First on the list is the Aztec Macuahuitl. The skin brings a tribal look to the Rust longsword with an all-wooden look lined in sharp rocks. Blood covers the two engraved green skulls on the handle while red twined loops around the hilt. The Aztec Macuahuitl is the perfect skin for a primitive look.
Xtreme Sword
$21.79

The Xtreme Sword features an all-black dirtied look with scratches and dirt spreading all across the black blade. The sword has a sharp geometrical look with rectangular block cutouts on the blade along with a half-circle cutout on the back of the sword. The hilt, which is wrapped in black cloth, is held to the blade by a massive screw keeping everything in place.
Danger Fork
$11.99

The Danger Fork longsword Rust skin is quite literally one giant fork. The once thick blade is now slim and long, leading up to a four-pronged fork-shaped tip. The handle continues this look with brown leather wrapping around it.
Kryss Longsword
$13.73

Next up, we have the Kryss Longsword. The Rust longsword skin uses a curvy blade representing that of a kris dagger. The black cloth handle has two lines of red studded leather wrapping around both the top and bottom of the grip. The rest of the skin remains true to the original with the giant bolt keeping everything in place.
Wakizashi
$21.52

The Wakizashi was a weapon worn by the classic samurais from Feudal Japan. It uses a long sharp one-sided blade with Japanese symbols and imagery resting centered on the weapon. The black grip is intertwined with red cloth furthering the feudal look of this classic blade.
Hot-tempered Longsword
$202.28

The final and most expensive skin on this list is the hot-tempered Longsword. The Rust skin keeps the look of the original longsword but with a twist. The edge of the blade has been heated to a glowing orange, and this heat runs down the blade, slowly fading into a deep red. The rest of the blade is normal with a slight tempered effect, giving the beautiful skin a hint of color.
