Rust Skin Guides

Punishment Mask

The Punishment Mask is the most expensive Rust armor skin on the list, with the price currently hovering around $2,500. Only 300 copies exist after the skin was suddenly removed from the Rust item store in November of 2016 due to copyright infringement.

Fire Jacket

Released in January of 2017, the Fire Jacket is the most expensive outerwear, Rust armor skin, resting at an average price of $600. Only 710 are known to exist, though the item can still drop rarely from Rust’s crates.

Forest Raiders Roadsign Kilt

The Forest Raiders Roadsign Kilt is one of two expensive Forest Raiders armor skins to make their way onto this Rust list. The Forest Raiders collection is infamous for its green camo design, blending in perfectly with forests. While over 28,000 copies of the kilt exist, its high price comes from its in-game potential.

Space Rocket Work Gloves

The Space Rocket Work Gloves were released in 2017 and were some of the first white glove skins available. They hold their value due to their clean design, pairing well with other collections. About 600 copies exist total.

Creepy Jack

The Creepy Jack Longsleeve T-Shirt was an extremely early Rust skin released for the 2015 Halloween event. As a result of its early release, the skin is very limited with only around 150 copies existing.

Forest Raiders Pants

The other Forest Raiders skin to make its way into the list is the Forest Raiders Pants skin. Over 29,000 copies of the skin exists, but it keeps its high value due to its potential for camouflage.

Burlap Ninja Slippers

The Burlap Ninja Slippers were the first skin released for the Burlap Shoes out of the 4 skins ever released for the item. Released in December of 2016, only around 350 pairs of the all-black shoes are known to exist making them extremely scarce and valuable.

  • I notice this post dives into the most expensive armor set in Rust—that kind of price tag really makes you think about how status is built in-game. I remember spending hours chasing that shiny look in old skins, and this article nails how expensive some pieces can get.

  • I can’t believe the Punishment Mask is sitting at $2.4k—I’d be scared to wear it on wipe day. I might try hunting down the Military Camo Roadsign Kilt before it climbs more, just to flex once. Flux2pro

  • Nice roundup of the top-tier armor set. Makes me wonder how many of these actually get used in-game vs. just being collector items sitting in inventories.
