Blue Gem Pattern Guides

CS2 Case Hardened Blue Gems Explained

These certain Case Hardened patterns are called Blue Gems thanks to the amount of blue color present, particularly on the playing side of the skin. Since Case Hardened skins are completely random by default when you unbox them, there’s no guarantee how your weapon would look, and very few ever come out as Blue Gem patterns.

The most expensive skins that have ever sold in Counter-Strike history are Case Hardened Blue Gems, particularly the AK-47 Case Hardened Blue Gem Pattern #661 and the Karambit Case Hardened Blue Gem Pattern #387.

All three of these patterns are the very best seeds you can have on a Kukri Knife Case Hardened, with perfectly blue tips and relatively minimal yellowing towards the handle. The 494 is considered the #1 pattern with the least amount of yellowing visible on the play side of the skin and a scar-like pattern close to the handle.

Tier 1 Kukri Knife Blue Gem Patterns, Pattern 652

These Kukri Knife Case Hardened patterns are still incredibly valuable and have some of the highest amounts of blue you’ll ever find on this particular blade; however, a few imperfections keep them at a slightly lower level of demand on the market as the top three seeds.

The #652 pattern features a 90% covered play side; however, it suffers from a yellow tip, which is seen as one of the most important considerations of any Blue Gem skin. The #838 pattern is the most evenly-balanced pattern with an 87% blue play side and a 90% blue back side; however, the yellow spots affect the visual appeal too much for it to be considered among the best Kukri Knife Blue Gem patterns.

Tier 2 Kukri Knife Blue Gem Patterns, Pattern 130

Tier 2 Blue Gem patterns have significantly less blue coverage than any of the Tier 1 finishes, but they’re still way more visually appealing than simply getting a random Case Hardened seed. The #682 pattern has the most play side blue coverage at 85.5%, however random spots of red, purple, and yellow make it look less clean than a Tier 1 Blue Gem would.
