Rust Item Store: Rust Skins Weekly Rotation Review (10/24)

Welcome to this week’s review of the Rust item store. This time, this week’s store marks the second and final week of Rust’s Halloween 2024 skins, with all the Rust skins this week being spooky-themed.

Witch Garage Door

The first Rust skin being featured in the Rust item store this week is the Witch Garage Door. The skin has a witch holding a pumpkin drawn in an Anime style with a beautiful view of the night sky behind her. It is one of the most expensive in the Rust item store this week, costing $3.00, and was created by the artist donut_racoons on Steam.

Mummy Wrap Jacket

For our next Rust skin to be accepted into the Rust item store, we have the Mummy Wrap Jacket. This jacket is cleverly made from Mummy Wrappings which look as they are wrapping around your character as you wear it. The skin is currently in the item store for $0.99 and requires no special resources to craft it. The skin was created by Bururik and it is once again their first skin being accepted into the game. So congratulations to them, and it is amazing they are able to provide the community with such beautiful skin.

Crypt Armored Door

The next skin accepted into the Rust item store this week is the Crypt Armored Door. The skin comes from the Crypt collection, which also features a matching double armored door. The skin has a spooky orange glowing look with a gothic cross and web-like designs stretching across the door. The skin will cost you $2.49. It was created by Jesin, who currently has 69 items accepted in the game. Once again, thanks to them for putting their effort into providing the community with such unique skins that never miss the mark.

Dark Magic Library

The fourth skin accepted into the Rust item store this week is the Dark Magic Library Sheet Metal Double Door. The skin features a creepy haunted library theme and seems to reference those fake doors behind bookshelves from the movies. The skin will cost you $3.00 and was created by Mr. 38

Wooden Double Door from Hell

Coming up next is the Wooden Double Door from Hell. It is a satanic-themed skin and is part of the From Hell collection, which currently features 24 other skins. The skin will cost you $2.49 and was created by SerQ.

Not So Cute Door

The sixth skin accepted into Rust this week is the Not So Cute Door, which is a skin for the Sheet Metal Door. The skin features a smiling ghost who shows an evil side of himself when it turns to night. This skin will cost you $2.49 and is one of the more unique skins to be added to this shop rotation. The skin was created by Milho Frito, who has over 180 items in the game.

The Awakened Collection

To continue the review, we have two skins that are part of The Awakened Collection. The Awakened Facemask, which serves as a Halloween-themed skin for the Metal Facemask, has a satanic skull spreading over the former face mask, with the leather back being replaced by a cracked skull with brains leaking out. The Awakened Chestplate follows this theme, with the chestplate replaced by a satanic ribcage. The items will cost $1.49 each and were created by haos9cr.

Pumpkin Exhibition SAR

The 9th skin accepted this week is this spooky skin for the Semi-Automatic Rifle. The skin is decorated with a line of pumpkins, and all make their own scary faces. The skin is part of the Pumpkin collection and will cost you $1.99. It was created by artist Delarai.

The Tooth Monster Collection

Next up, we once again have another collection of items that were accepted into the game—this time featuring the Tooth Monster Hoodie and Tooth Monster Pants. The two items, when worn together, form a monster with rotting flesh and dripping guts wrapping all around the body. The Hoodie will cost you $1.49, while the pants only cost $0.99. The collection was created by artist Kit.

Gore AR

The final skin accepted into the steam Rust item store this week is the Gore AR a skin made for the Assault Rifle. The skin is part of the Gore collection, which also features a Semi-Automatic Rifle. As the name implies, the skin quite literally gives a view of gore and horror as it is made of eyes, intestines, and guts. The Gore Assault Rifle will cost you $2.49 and was created by artist Jimmy_Tudeski.
