Rust Instrument Pack DLC Overview
The Rust Instrument Pack DLC introduced a new range of new in-game instruments to Rust, which can be purchased at the Steam store for $9.99. This pack includes a collection of instruments that stretches far, including instruments all the way from a trumpet to a piano. All of these new instruments can be used with MIDI-compatible keyboards. Show off your musical skills to your friends on long boat rides or practice your tunes and channel your inner musician.

Canbourine
The first instrument added by the Rust Instrument Pack DLC is the Canbourine this obvious parody of a tambourine can play all the songs and is by far one of the easiest instruments to play in this entire DLC and only costs 25 metal fragments to craft. Impress your friends with a resonant beat with the use of the Canbourine.
Junkyard Drum Kit
The Junkyard Drum kit is a fully fledged drum kit added by the Rust Instrument Pack DLC that you can craft for only 200 wood and 100 metal fragments. Use this instrument to play a wide variety of music and easily entertain your entire base with the presence of a drum kit.
Xylobone
The Xylobone is a xylophone made completely of bones. This belt of bones can easily be crafted for 50 bone fragments and is one of the most interesting instruments added by the team of developers to the game as it is the only one that doesn’t cost a random combination of wood, metal fragments, and cloth. The deployable’s large range of notes and sounds allows it to play plenty of rustic tunes.
Plumber’s Trumpet
The next item added by the Rust Instrument Pack DLC is the Plumber’s Trumpet. This plunger trumpet can be crafted for 75 metal fragments and plays loud brass notes, letting every player on the server know where you are. Use this handheld device to entertain friends and channel your inner musician.
Cowbell
The Cowbell added by The Rust Instrument Pack DLC is by far the simplest of the new instruments to play, and it only costs 35 metal fragments. Just press left click, and you will be enabled to hear the most annoying sounds in all of Rust. Just walk up to any enemy’s base and spam left click, and their ears will begin to bleed from the agonizing sound produced by the Rust Cowbell.
Jerry Can Guitar
The new Jerry Can guitar introduced by the Rust Instrument Pack DLC is an acoustic guitar that can play almost any song with the proper experience behind the strings. The Jerry Can Guitar costs 25 wood and metal fragments and is one of the best instruments in the pack to pick up and play if you actually know what you are doing.
Pan Flute
Another instrument added by the Rust Instrument Pack DLC is the Pan Flute. This item can be crafted for 20 metal fragments and five cloth. The Pan Flute is made up of PVC pipes and is a wind instrument that can play very high notes. It is handheld and a great starting instrument to lay out and get a feel for.
Shovel Bass
The Shovel Bass is another guitar added by the Rust Instrument Pack DLC. This guitar can be crafted for 50 wood and 75 metal fragments. The Shovel Bass is a bass guitar, meaning it plays much deeper notes and tunes. It is the perfect instrument to start a band with, as it is great for maintaining time and rhythm while performing.
Wheelbarrow Piano
The next instrument from the Rust Instrument Pack DLC is the Wheelbarrow Piano. This piano is by far the most advanced instrument added to the game, as it can play the widest collection of notes. This comes at the cost of it being by far the biggest and most expensive, costing 200 wood and 100 metal fragments.
Sousaphone
The Sousaphone is the final instrument added by the Rust Instrument Pack DLC. This tuba is made of metal piping and only costs 100 metal fragments to make. It is a brass instrument that plays heavy, deep notes and can be great to announce to other bases that you are getting ready to destroy them.
