Christmas Rust Twitch Drops Overview
With Rust’s Christmas event Rustmas beginning, the game developers have also added a small set of Rust Twitch drops. Five new Christmas-themed skins have been added to Rust, and you can receive them for free. These five skins require 2 hours of watch per skin, which totals up to about 10 hours of viewing. The skins include a small box, sleeping bag, wooden door, and hide shirt and pants, all of which will be covered in this Rustmas Rust Christmas Twitch drops overview.

How to Earn Christmas Twitch Rust Drops
If you want to earn Rust Twitch drops yourself, head over to the official Rust Twitch drops page, where it’s easy to connect your Twitch account to your Steam account with minimal clicks. Then just search for your favorite Rust streamer or any other Rust live streams and watch them to make progress on your Rust Twitch drops (if you are unsure if a streamer has drops, check their title or look for a “Drops Enabled” tag to see). After the amount of time required to obtain the Rust Twitch drops has passed, you should be able to claim them on the Twitch Drops page, where they will instantly go to your inventory. The Rustmas Twitch drops event is running until January 6th, 2025, at 6:59 PM EST, so you have until then to claim your desired drops.
Rustmas Small Box
The first skin added by the Christmas Rust Twitch drops event is the Rustmas small box. This small box skin is made entirely of gingerbread with icing, candies, and other decorations covering the outside of the box. The small box is extremely festive and serves as a great skin choice for the holiday season. To earn this Rust Twitch drop, you must watch any Rust stream for 2 hours.
Rustmas Sleeping Bag
The Rustmas sleeping bag is the second skin added by the Christmas Rust Twitch drops. This skin continues the festive theme with the bag being covered in Christmas designs such as stars, gingerbread men, and reindeer, and presents with a long string of Christmas lights being wrapped along the bag. To earn this drop, you must watch a Rust stream for 4 hours.
Rustmas Wooden Door
The final deployable added by the Christmas Rust Twitch drops is the Rustmas Wooden Door. This door is also completely made of gingerbread and makes the perfect finishing touch to any base made of gingerbread material. The door is complete with a window made of icing on the front, with other symbols drawn in icing on the back of the door. This Christmas Rust Twitch drop requires you to watch any Rust stream for 6 hours.
Rustmas Hide Vest
The Rustmas hide vest is one of two clothing skins added by the Christmas Rust Twitch drops. This red and white vest features three black buttons going up the middle, with a red and black plaid patch on the side and a massive red snowflake on the back. The Rustmas hide vest manages to keep a festive look while not being over the top and sticking true to the gritty theme of the game. To earn this drop, you must watch 8 hours of a Rust stream with drops.
Rustmas Hide Pants
The final skin added by the Christmas Rust Twitch drops is the Rustmas Hide Pants. These pants are in the same collection as the vest and match perfectly with the same white and red look. The pants, however, are a bit simpler, with the only details being a simple belt, two red and black plaid patches on the front, and one massive patch on the back. This final Twitch drop requires 10 hours of watch time to earn.
That’s all for Rust’s Christmas Twitch drops. Remember, if you want to earn these drops yourself, watch any stream with drops enabled while having your Steam and Twitch accounts connected.
