Every Rust Bone Knife Skin
The bone knife is one of Rust’s best primitive melee weapons. It is great for harvesting corpses and can do subpar damage against other players. The knife has been quite underappreciated when it comes to skins as it only has 8, so in this article, we will be overviewing all Rust bone knife skins.

Rebar Knife
$2.40
The first bone knife on our list of Rust skins is the Rebar Knife. This bone knife is not quite made of bones, as the skin has transformed it to be made completely of rebar. The skin is quite simple, with some basic engravings and a smooth, shiny metal finish. While the design itself may be simple, the idea of a metal bone knife and the damage it may cause makes it a unique skin in itself.
Carrot Knife
$3.14
Next on our list, we have the Carrot Knife Rust skin. The easter-themed take on the bone knife transforms the entire weapon into one massive carrot. The carrot comes completely finished with a green top and deep orange blade. While it may look as dull as a rock, the knife is still as deadly as ever, so be careful not to take a bite!
Paititi Bone Knife
$6.16
Rust’s Paititi Bone Knife skin resembles an ancient artifact from a civilization long ago. It’s a primitive tool wrapped in leather, gold, and jewels that once served as a sign of royalty. While the contents and origin of the skin may be unknown, it still serves as a beautiful piece of art to add to your Rust inventory.
Etched Edge Bone Knife
$5.67
Entering the latter half of the list, we have the Etched Edge Bone Knife. This was actually Rust’s first bone knife skin, which was introduced in 2016. It is by far the simplest Rust skin on the list, with it just being the original knife with a recolored brown handle and etchings in the bone itself. While the skin may be nothing special, it is a great reminder of how far Rust’s skins and items have come.
Studded Bone Knife
$6.94
The Studded Bone Knife is a punk-themed Rust skin with the handle being replaced by a studded black grip and the knife itself being “bleached with blood,” as the skin creator claims. If you look closely at the black and white knife, you can see a few remaining spots of blood. The punk aesthetic paired with the item itself being a bone was a great design choice by the skin creator and makes for a great bone knife skin.
Sacrificial Knife
$11.53
The Sacrificial Knife is quite similar to the Etched Edge Bone Knife covered earlier on the list. It takes the default Rust bone knife skin, colors the grip brown, and adds some simple skull engravings over the entirety of the skin. The cult-like design is an upgrade from the previous skin’s etched look, giving the knife a unique twist and a way for players to roleplay with it, whether it be performing sacrifices or just joking around.
Flesh Knife
$5.58
The final Rust skin on this list is the Flesh Knife. The bone knife regresses a bit, bringing on a fleshy form, and a monster emerges from the knife. If you look closely at the knife you will be able to notice 2 red eyes staring at you and a giant mouth with bone teeth stretching down the side of the skin, if you look even closer, you will be able to notice even more etchings on the bone part of the knife. The Flesh Knife by far surpasses all other bone knife skins in both detail and creativity. It is amazing skin that is surely worth getting your hands on.
