Abyss Hazmat

The Abyss Hazmat is the first skin introduced with the Rust Abyss Pack DLC. It keeps the original stats of the hazmat but transfers the suit into a completely aquatic theme with three variants of submariner helmets to choose from. Each design uses the same worn-out submarine outfit covered in barnacles, dirt, and mud. The three helmets vary in different visual and geometrical designs, but overall, they keep the same aesthetic and make for a unique touch.

Abyss Assault Rifle

The Abyss Assault Rifle transfers the weapon into a deep sea environment, whose appearance hints that it has been sitting there for a long time with rust, barnacles, and seaweed covering all sides of the weapon. The shovel stock is replaced with a giant anchor, while the iron sights are replaced by fish hooks.

Abyss Hatchet

The Abyss Pack DLC also introduces the Abyss Hatchet, a skin for the Metal Hatchet. The skin completely redesigns the hatchet from the ground up, with the new design seeming to be made of abandoned ship parts and covered in rust and barnacles. The hatchet’s reimagined design creates the perfect skin for any deep-sea explorer.

Abyss Pickaxe

Following the Abyss Hatchet, next in the Abyss Pack DLC we have the Abyss Pickaxe. The pickaxe sits in a similar spot to the axe, with its skin and model completely rebuilt from the ground up. The pick has been turned into one giant anchor fit with a rope wrapped around it as the grip and a chain coming from the end of it. The skin is both very detailed and a completely unique model, making it one of the best pickaxe skins in the game.

Abyss Torch

The final item added by the Abyss Pack DLC is by far the most useful, as it’s a skin for the torch, a tool that you always spawn with and have handy. This torch skin is special, however, because it keeps the light blocked by a glass shield, allowing you to light the torch underwater. While it is not the most useful benefit, the Abyss Torch still remains one of the few pay-to-win items in the game.
