Cheapest Way to Raid a Wood Tier Base
It’s the start of the wipe, and you’re sitting there wondering how to raid those door-camping neighbors living in a little wood hut beside your base. Well, worry no more because this is how to take them out, saving you resources!
Wooden Walls and Foundations
The cheapest way to raid anything from the wooden tier is 3 Satchel Charges using only 1440 sulfur. Other ways include using four molotov which comes out to 400 low-grade fuel. When raiding wood, a plethora of options are cheap and easy! Make sure to leave precious rockets and C4 at home because these walls don’t need high-tier explosives like that!
Wooden Doors
A single wood door can be raided using 2 Molotovs at a total cost of 100 low-grade fuel. One thing to note is that a double wooden door only costs 1 Molotov, compared to a single wooden door costing 2. Using sulfur-based explosives, the cheapest way to raid a wood door is certainly 19 explosive ammo, at a total sulfur cost of 475 sulfur.
Cheapest Way to Raid a Stone Tier Base
Stone walls are the most common build tier you will see within Rust. The majority of players will have at least one wall or foundation made of stone within their base. The cheapest way to raid a stone-tier build is to use 2 C4 for 4400 sulfur. If you want splash damage on surrounding walls, the next best option would be four rockets for 5600 sulfur.
Cheapest Way to Raid Metal Doors
Sheet Metal Door
The sheet metal door is the bread and butter of Rust. If you walk up to just about any base within Rust, you will most likely spot one of these doors at minimum. The cheapest way to save sulfur when raiding one of these doors is 1 Rocket and 8 Explosive ammo costing 1600 sulfur.
Garage Door
The garage door is a famous item within Rust. When opened, its ability to fold to cover zero space provides excellent advantages when traversing your base. The cheapest way to raid one of these doors is through the use of 1 C4 followed by one rocket costing 3600 sulfur.
Cheapest Way to Raid a Sheet Metal Base
The sheet metal tier is a fantastic way to level up one’s base. Costing over double the sulfur to raid using sheet metal is your second-best bet when deterring enemies from even looking at your base. If you want to protect your hard-earned items, upgrade your base to Sheet Metal Tier or more! The cheapest way to raid any building in the Sheet Metal tier is through the use of 8 C4 costing 8800 sulfur or 8 Rockets costing 11200 sulfur.
Cheapest Way to Raid Armoured Doors
The armored door is an absolute beast. Costing many more times than a sheet metal or garage door to raid, these deployable are not to be reckoned with. The cheapest way to bust into one of these vault-like doors is through the use of 2 C4 and 1 Rocket costing 5600 sulfur!
Cheapest Way to Raid an Armored Tier Base
The Armored Tier is the farthest that one can upgrade to in Rust. This building tier is extremely brutal to raid, taking thousands of precious sulfur. To raid this tier, the cheapest route is using 8 C4, which costs 17600 sulfur, or 15 Rockets, which costs 21000 sulfur!
