The Most Expensive CS2 Steam Inventory Review
While CS2 skins are seen as an addition by most players to enhance their overall game experience, some view them as lucrative investment pieces or even simply personal collections. It may be crazy to think that digital cosmetics, which can be wiped off the face of the Earth almost instantaneously, can amount to such large sums, especially when the right people take interest. As of February 2025, the most expensive CS2 Steam inventory in the world belongs to a private collector, with an evaluated price of around $1.8 million featuring some of the rarest skins, stickers, and crafts ever.
Total CS2 Skins Inventory Value
According to the current market trends for skins and using Pricempire to accurately determine the inventory value, the most expensive CS2 Steam inventory is listed at a value of $1,832,000. This is by far the most valuable collection in the entire world that has been made publicly available at some point in time. Historically, though, this collection was once even more expensive than it is now with price history showing its peak being over $2,524,000 in 2023. There are four Tier 1 Case Hardened Blue Gem patterns that can be found in this account, which is definitely one of the main reasons for its status as the most expensive Counter-Strike collection in the world.
Knives and Gloves

Found within the Steam account where the most expensive CS2 inventory resides is an incredible amount of knives and gloves. With 29 different knives and 25 different gloves, there is no shortage of variety when it comes to rarity and value. The highest-priced of the bunch is also over $2,000 more expensive than the one next in line, being a Factory New Butterfly Knife | Gamma Doppler in the shiny green Emerald finish. As the Gamma Doppler phase is in the lowest quantity and highest rarity, this particular skin stands out further on the ever-popular Butterfly Knife, which has been a fan favorite since its addition. Currently sitting at a price of $15,500, it is the most expensive knife that can be found in this inventory and a decent contributor to the total worth of the account. There are four others within the five-digit price range, namely an M9 Bayonet | Gamma Doppler (Emerald) priced at $13,450, Butterfly Knife | Doppler (Ruby) with a going rate of $12,900, Karambit | Gamma Doppler (Emerald) trading at a value of $11,500, and a StatTrak Paracord Knife | Crimson Web that will sell around the $11,000 range, all of which are in the best condition possible.
Gloves come at a step more valuable for this inventory, with market prices for certain finishes seeing an uptick as of late. One of the fastest-rising gloves based on recent market value is the Sport Gloves | Hedge Maze, one of which can be found in the most expensive CS2 inventory in Factory New condition. Having made a jump in price over the last few days, it is the most valuable glove pair found in this inventory with a price of close to $29,000. Up next is a very popular pair that has experienced the complete opposite of the Hedge Maze in the last few days, which is the FN Sport Gloves | Vice, currently on a downward trend. Still, that doesn’t mean they are affordable for the average player by any means, as the price for this specific skin currently averages around $14,400 across multiple trading platforms. Rounding out the list of five-digit glove skins are a pair of Sport Gloves | Pandora’s Box in Minimal Wear, currently selling for nearly $10,300.
Stickers

The pinnacle of CS2 stickers is undoubtedly the EMS One Katowice 2014 Major stickers featuring the set of teams that participated in the tournament, where commemorative stickers were released for the first time. Apart from age, lots of other factors also contribute to what makes these rare stickers so expensive and desired by many, with a relatively stable price history of simply going up in price year after year. Lots of these teams are no longer active within the professional Counter-Strike scene, while some simply don’t exist anymore. By far, the king of the Katowice 2014 collection is the Titan (Holo) sticker, currently priced at a whopping $110,000. These are simply the most expensive stickers that money can buy, and three of them can be found by searching the pages of the most expensive CS2 Steam inventory.
Next up are four stickers belonging to the most controversial and infamous team of all time – iBUYPOWER. With the players’ respective legacies marred by the 2014 match-fixing scandal, anything related to the team itself has remained an extremely hot topic within the CS space, especially their stickers from Katowice 2014. The iBUYPOWER (Holo) sticker is currently selling for around $68,400 and can be found as 4x crafts on a lot of skins that either contrast its shiny red finish or complement it. The final item on the list of expensive stickers found in this inventory is four Reason Gaming (Holo) stickers from the same Major tournament. While its price is a significant dip compared to that of the iBUYPOWER ones, these stickers are still a big contributor to the overall inventory value, with a trading value of around $36,600 these days. This sticker stands out in crafts due to its color and overall unique design, in addition to the fact that Reason Gaming is no longer a notable name in CS as of 2025.
Sticker Crafts

There may never be a more impressive collection of sticker crafts than what can be found in this specific inventory. With a whopping 24 4x crafts from the Katowice 2014 capsule, seven of them utilize a full set of Titan (Holo) stickers with a sticker value of $440,000 placed on top of each weapon in addition to the skin’s base value alone. Two of these 4x Titan (Holo) crafts can be found on AK-47 | Case Hardened skins with the coveted #661 Blue Gem pattern – the #1 in the entire world. The other three are found on a Factory New Glock-18 | Fade featuring a 99.89% fade pattern, a FN AK-47 | Wild Lotus, a StatTrak FN M4A4 | Howl, a FN AWP | Gungnir, and a StatTrak FN USP-S | Orion. Given how expensive these skins can be, it’s definitely safe to assume these will never randomly appear on third-party marketplaces or especially the Steam community marketplace itself.
The account also has five 4x crafts using the iBUYPOWER (Holo) stickers, three 4x crafts with the Reason Gaming (Holo) stickers, and two 4x crafts each for the Team LDLC.com (Holo), Team Dignitas (Holo), and LGB eSports (Holo) stickers from the same Major, all placed on a variety of items in the inventory. There are also multiple weapons with gold sticker crafts featuring autographs of professional players from the PGL Major Krakow 2017, often considered the most expensive Major autographs of all time. Featuring some of the best CS players of all time, such as Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev, Marcelo “coldzera” David, Jake “Stewie2K” Yip, and Kenny “kennyS” Schrub, each set of four is well within the four-digit price point.
Playskins

Of course, it’s hard to talk about playskins in CS without mentioning the prime example of what it means to be iconic. The two most expensive skins in the inventory based solely on the base market value of the weapon alone just so happen to be Factory New Souvenir AWP | Dragon Lores, with distinct sticker combinations on each of them. The Dragon Lore, with a lower float value of 0.04, comes with three stickers from ESL One Cologne 2014: the ESL logo, Cloud9, and Ninjas in Pyjamas, along with a Titan sticker from Katowice 2014. The second Dragon Lore, with a float value of 0.06, contains a full gold combination of the ESL logo, Fnatic, Virtus.pro, and Jesper “JW” Wecksell.
Next up is a collection that is beyond impressive, simply due to the number of factors that go into this particular skin’s value. Three StatTrak M4A4 | Howl skins, each with a current market value of $12,700. The kicker, though, is the fact that all three have 4x sticker crafts from Katowice 2014 on them: one each using iBUYPOWER (Holo), Reason Gaming (Holo), and Titan (Holo) stickers. Last but certainly not the least on this list of playskins is a Factory New AWP | Gungnir that has the king of all rare stickers slapped on its surface – a perfect craft using Titan (Holo) stickers from Katowice 2014.
Rare Patterns and Floats

In CS, it simply does not get any rarer than the AK-47 | Case Hardened Blue Gem Pattern #661. This is considered to be the holy grail not just of Case Hardened skins but perhaps all skins in the entire game. Four of these skins can be found in the most expensive CS2 inventory in the world, with two in Minimal Wear condition and the other two in Field-Tested. In addition to its already steep price as the consensus rarest skin pattern of all time, they all have Katowice 2014 sticker crafts with a total value well into the six-figure range.
It’s hard to put a price on them currently, given that these are truly near-impossible to find out for sale publicly, but it wouldn’t be a surprise to see them near the million-dollar mark. There is also a Bayonet | Marble Fade that can be found in this inventory with one of the best “Fire and Ice” patterns available: #578. Though it is not the absolute highest tier pattern, the #578 will still command a market price higher than what a typical Bayonet | Marble Fade will go for these days.
