Rust Twitch Drops: Bears For A Better World Twitch Drop Event

A Rust Twitch drop event has begun, introducing a total of 5 new drops for players to collect. The event intends to raise money for both Cancer Research UK and the Ronald McDonald House through the proceeds made from the sale of two in-game plushies. How to Earn Rust Twitch Drops

Rust Twitch drops can be earned by connecting your Rust and Twitch accounts on the official Rust x Twitch website. Once connected, watch any Twitch stream under the Rust category with the Drops Enabled tag. After watching an eligible stream for the required amount of time, the Rust skins will automatically enter your Steam inventory.

Cancer Research UK Bear Plushie

The Cancer Research UK Bear Plushie is one of the two plushies players are able to purchase to support charities through Rust. All proceeds from the plushie will go directly to the Cancer Research UK foundation. The bear itself provides 80% comfort when placed, requiring 50 cloth to craft.

Ronald McDonald UK Bear Plushie

The other plushie for purchase is the Ronald McDonald UK Bear Plushie with the proceeds directly supporting the Ronald McDonald House. The bear has identical stats to the other plushie, providing 80% comfort when crafted, requiring 50 cloth.

Bears For A Better World Large Wood Box

The first Rust Twitch drop available from the event is the Bears For A Better World Large Wood Box. The box can be obtained after watching a drops-enabled Rust stream for 2 hours. The simple box uses teddy bear designs, fitting the theme of the event.

Bears For A Better World Bed

The Bears For A Better World Bed can be earned after watching an eligible Twitch Rust stream for 2 hours, totaling 4 hours of watch time. It was unlocked after the $50,000 charity goal was reached by contributors. The glowing bed skin features a blue, white, and purple design with yellow stars.

Bears For A Better World Large Backpack

The third Rust Twitch drop unlocked after contributors reached the $100,000 charity goal. The Bears For A Better World Large Backpack features a purple and pink design with a large purple teddy bear resting on the backside of the backpack. It can be earned by watching an eligible streamer for 2 hours, totaling 6 hours of watch time to earn the bag.

Bears For A Better World Electric Furnace

The Bears For A Better World Electric Furnace was unlocked after contributors reached a $150,000 charity donation goal. It features a red brick design with a white teddy bear peeking through the sides of the furnace. The furnace can be earned after watching a drops-enabled Rust Twitch stream for another 2 hours, accumulating to a total of 8 hours to earn the drop.

Bears For A Better World Auto Turret

The Bears For A Better World Auto Turret skin unlocks after the charity event reaches the final $250,000 donation goal. It can be earned by watching a drops-enabled Rust stream for a total of 2 hours, totaling up to 10 hours of watch time to earn every Twitch drop from the event. The skin serves as the 8th skin ever released for the recently skinnable turret.
