Desert Eagle Heat Treated Pattern Guide

You may know CS2 as a competitive shooter in which players must fight to win each round and, eventually, the match. Though competitive, CS2 is a significant part of the brand, with even larger skins. With hundreds of different skins for every weapon in the game, you would think that CS2 skins are like any other game. That would be wrong CS2 skins are complex, expensive, and beautiful in so many ways. The newest complex skin is the Desert Eagle Heat Treated, due to its unique “Blue Gem” patterns.

How Do Patterns Work?

A large portion of CS2 skins operate under a pattern system. A general template is created, and in CS2’s case, 1000 possible patterns per skin are made. Upon unboxing or creation in ways such as trade-ups or drops, a skin is randomly assigned an unpredicted pattern ID (a number between 1-1000) that changes the weapon’s look. For some guns, a pattern can only slightly vary in little lines or effects, but for some, even a singular digit off can make the skin look almost entirely different. In cases like the infamous Case Hardened series, patterns can cost a skin from a couple of dollars to millions.

What Are Good Heat-Treated Patterns?

Like the Case Hardened finish, Heat Treated CS2 skins can be pulled as possible “Blue Gems.” These Blue Gems display overwhelming amounts of blue, contrasting with the more average patterns. In the case of the Desert Eagle Heat Treated Blue Gem, patterns, regardless of float value, look fantastic.

Since Blue Gems are so highly sought after, the community has put a lot of thought into how they are organized. Blue Gems are separated into tiers; the higher the tier, the better the pattern. Tier one Blue gems are commonly worth thousands of dollars, but for the Desert Eagle Heat Treated, tier 1 skins can be only a couple hundred. Let’s look into this game’s fantastic patterns without further ado!

Tier 1 Desert Eagle Heat Treated Patterns

490, 148, 69 704

With four patterns falling in Tier 1, these Deagles fetch the highest prices. Featuring max blue across the entire weapon, this deagle is noticeable from miles away. Even the most random teammates unaware of skins will be in awe after such a sight.

Tier 2 Desert Eagle Heat Treated Patterns

16, 48, 66, 67, 96, 111, 117, 159, 259, 263, 273, 297, 308, 321, 324, 341, 347, 370, 426, 461, 482, 517, 530, 567, 587, 674, 695, 723, 764, 772, 781, 790, 792, 843, 880, 885, 904, 948, 990

With over six times the amount of Tier 1 patterns, Tier 2 has a large selection waiting for you. These patterns are still fantastically blue, with most of the weapon surface covered. These Deagles usually sell in the range of just above half of what a Tier 1 pattern would sell for, making them a perfect addition to a high-tier loadout without such a humongous price.

Tier 3 Desert Eagle Heat Treated Patterns

109, 116, 134, 158, 168, 225, 288, 338, 354, 356, 365, 386, 406, 433, 441, 483, 537, 542, 592, 607, 611, 651, 668, 673, 696, 701, 730, 743, 820, 846, 856, 857, 870, 876, 882, 898, 900, 925, 942, 946, 951, 953, 970, 998

Still, with plenty of blues, Tier 3 is a perfect example of how skins, even with familiar patterns, can still be magnificent. With periodic blue across the weapon surface, Tier 3 can be unique with spotted patterns, unlike the other two tiers. Tier 3 weapons in Counter-Strike are perfect for any collection, as when paired with a good knife, these skins can make a remarkable inventory.

What Are Desert Eagle Heat-Treated Purple Gems?

Unlike The heat-treated close counterpart, the case-hardened finish, Heat-treated weapons can produce what people now call “Purple Gems.” These highly unique patterns feature an almost fully dark purple deagle, making for nearly an entirely new skin. The best part about these rare purple gems is that they are commonly found for close to market price, contrary to the Blue Gem skins that sell for hundreds!
