The Cyrex Family has been in the game from some of the earliest days of Counter-Strike. Offering a nostalgic energy that takes players back to 2014, the Cyrex Family is undoubtedly a staple of the CS2 brand. Today, we will take a look at the simple, yet fantastic Cyrex CS2 Family!
Choosing new skin designs for each weapon can be a difficult choice, especially with so many skins to choose from. Why not simply spread the popular designs across multiple weapons? A CS2 skin family is simply a group of skins that share the same finish, but are applied to different weapon platforms.
The Cyrex family all featured a simple red, black, and white design. Using simple lines and shapes, the Cyrex family expresses a depth that even the most artistic of skins cannot. Often referred to as futuristic, the Cyrex family was truly ahead of its time.
The Second Cyrex to be introduced, the M4A1-S, is by far the most famous of the Cyrex Family. Offering a simple design, this covert quickly became a hit with fans as it allowed players to customize it or even use it in its natural form, looking fantastic either way.

Brought into the game in late 2016, the USP-S Cyrex is the youngest member of the Cyrex family. Known as one of, if not the best, budget USP-S, the USP-S Cyrex is the perfect conclusion to such a fantastic family.

The SCAR-20 Cyrex is the oldest skin in the Cyrex family, added to Counter-Strike in early 2014. Now in CS2 with so few SCAR-20 skins, the SCAR-20 Cyrex remains one of the best SCAR-20 skins available, even when compared with new releases.

The SG-553 is another interesting application of the Cyrex family, as it is considered one of the lesser-known weapons in Counter-Strike. Regardless of use or usefulness, this SG-553 will have you questioning if it’s time to switch up your gameplay just to see such a fantastic skin!

As you can see, the Cyrex family is living proof that even the oldest of skins can stand up against new releases. If you love the Cyrex family as much as we do, or would like to see another CS2 skin family covered, feel free to leave a comment down below!
