Rust Lumberjack Pack DLC Overview

The Rust Lumberjack Pack DLC was originally introduced back in October of 2022 and brought with it five new special and unique skins to the game. Two skins for each of the stone tools, a hazmat replacement skin, and two skins for each of the metal tools.

Lumberjack Hazmat

The Lumberjack suit offers a completely new theme for the hazmat. A metal welding mask sits over your face while a plaid shirt and pair of jeans replace the hazmat’s tarp suit. A harness, thick boots, and kneepads all fit over the hazmat to add a rugged look to this note-worthy skin.

Prototype Hatchet and Prototype Pickaxe

The Prototype Hatchet reimagines the metal hatchet with a black and red theme, holes in the hatchet, and a metal encasing covering the entire hatchet. A new metal handguard was added to the skin, which, while completely cosmetic, looks amazing and gives the hatchet a new sense of life.

The prototype tools share the same details. The pickaxe has been morphed into a one-handed tool, uses the same black and red color scheme, and has a thick metal pick blade. While it uses completely different animations from the normal metal pickaxe, the stats are identical, and it offers no in-game advantage.

Concrete Pickaxe and Concrete Hatchet

The Concrete Hatchet is the first of the two concrete tools added by the Rust Lumberjack Pack DLC. The stone hatchet is made of bundled-up rebar held together by a single piece of rope connected to a massive slab of concrete. The design of the hatchet may be simple, yet it still completely reimagines the tool as a whole.

The last of the four tools added by the Rust Lumberjack DLC is the Concrete Pickaxe. It is similar to the Concrete Hatchet as it is just bundled up rebar held together by tape connected to a slab of concrete. All of the craftable tools added by the Rust Lumberjack DLC have the same in-game bonuses, research cost, and stats as the default skins and offer no in-game advantage.
