Thursday has finally come around, meaning the Rust item store has finally reset. This week, the store brings us 12 new Christmas-themed skins, the first F1 grenade skin in 7 years, a new collection, and some other great skins that will all be covered in this review of the Rust item store.

Gingerbread Man Rug
The first skin added to this week’s Rust item store is the Gingerbread Man Rug. This skin is perfect for a rug as the gingerbread design blends perfectly with the gingerbread costume and gingerbread Christmas building material. This is the perfect rug to put next to some logs and a fireplace and have a chill Rust afternoon.
Red Christmas Grenade
The next skin added to the Rust item store is the Red Christmas Grenade. This skin is special as it’s the first F1 grenade skin to be added to Rust since 2017. The design wraps the grenade into a red gift, making it the perfect present for your enemies. This is the first time F1 grenade skins have been this cheap in a while, so it is a great time to pick one up if you do not have one.
Ice Vortex Furnace
The Ice Vortex Furnace was also added this week and is the first Christmas-themed furnace skin we have seen so far this year. The skin is an evil ice and snow monster wrapped with Christmas lights that glow and create a sign that the scary-looking monster might not be so scary after all.
Gingerbread House Garage Door
Next, in the Rust item store, we have the Gingerbread House Garage Door. This door skin is the perfect way to prepare your base for the Christmas season. Its cute and wonderful designs elevate your base from a simple shack to an elegant mansion full of Christmas spirit.
Frosty’s Locker
Frosty’s Locker joins its way into Rust beside its brother Frosty’s Fridge. This Locker skin uses cutouts to create a snowglobe effect that allows you to see inside the locker. Inside, you can see a snowy forest full of trees and logs, with one bright Christmas tree taking the spotlight. The rest of the skin is a neat wooden red locker with gold accents that serves as the perfect locker for the Christmas season.
Gingerbread Jackhammer
Joining the Gingerbread Collection, we have the Gingerbread Jackhammer. This tool marks the second skin in the Gingerbread collection alongside the Gingerbread Thompson. The festive jackhammer is made of gingerbread covered in a sugary drizzle and uses a sharp candy cane as the hammering tool. It’s the perfect tool to farm nodes with during the festive season.
Gift Stack Backpack
The Gift Stack Backpack is the first ever seasonal Large Backpack skin to be introduced to the Rust item store. This Christmas backpack is made of presents stacked on top of one another, forming the appearance of one cohesive backpack. The skin is well made, featuring plenty of details such as small gold bows and candy canes. It’s a wonderful choice if you’re looking for a fully seasonal clothing set.
Polar Bear Rock
The next skin added to the Rust item store is the Polar Bear Rock. This primitive tool has been transformed into a completely white polar bear with black beady eyes and a neat smile. This is topped off with a massive red Christmas hat sitting atop the polar bear’s head, giving him a cute festive look. This Christmas Rock skin is overall beautiful and a great addition that clicks right into the game.
Sweet Gift Sleeping Bag
The Sweet Gift Sleeping Bag is the perfect bag to place next to a fireplace full of logs as you get a nice rest wrapped up like a gift during the cold winter season. With the gift design and colorful lights, the bag will click right in with your Rust winter collection and is surely worth checking out if you’re looking to make your Rust base festive this year.
Frozen Santa Collection
The Frozen Santa Collection is a two-piece collection that was introduced to the Rust item store this week. It consists of both a hoodie and a pair of pants. They take on the appearance of Santa’s iconic clothes, except they have been frozen over with ice and are beginning to turn blue as they freeze more and more. The unique red and blue color scheme of the skin is appealing and actually blends in quite well with the ice. It’s a great new addition to the current festive armor sets we have in Rust.
Snowflake SAR
The final skin added to this week’s Rust item store is the Snowflake SAR. This is the one and only gun getting a skin this week. However, they nailed it with this skin as it is a beautiful Christmas skin that switches things up with a black and blue design. The skin feels like a starry night sky with bright, shining snowflakes falling around you. The entire design of the skin feels well-planned, looks gorgeous, and is definitely worth checking out.
