Rust Item Store: Rust Skins Weekly Rotation Review (12/06)

It’s Thursday, meaning the Rust item store has rotated, bringing with it ten new skins being introduced to the game. The skins include a new Large Backpack skin and a Road Sign Armor set along with a few weapon and deployable skins being accepted into the game as well.

Beauty Industry Double Door

The first skin added to this week’s Rust item store is the Beauty Industry Double Door. This skin for the Sheet Metal Double Door features two cat women front and center, one neon pink and the other neon blue. The base of the door consists of blue and red striped square patterns that run across the door and accentuate the look of the two cat women.

Desert Nomad Backpack

The next skin added to the Rust item store this week is the Desert Nomad Backpack. This skin is perfect for blending in with the desert environment with its brown and tan colors and desert design. The Nomad style comes into play as well, with the backpack clearly being built for survival, featuring pouches and even a canteen.

Commando Road Sign Set

The next pack of skins is an entire three-piece Road Sign set for the Commando Rust collection. This new set being introduced to the Rust item store consists of an all-black Black Out-like look but with a rough, more metallic texture and shine. While the set is quite simple, it is perfect if you’re looking for a darker set to blend into the night with.

Cyber Core MP5

The Cyber Core MP5 is a special skin, not just because of its colorful fade design, but because of its insanely clean iron sights that are monumentally better than the default MP5 iron sights. The rest of the skin features a cool purple-to-pink gradient with sections of metal to contrast the colorful design. Whether you’re just a player who likes the look of the skin or you’re a real gamer buying it for the iron sights, it’s definitely worth checking out.

Otherworldly Furnace

The next item in the Rust item store is the Otherworldly Furnace, which appears to be made of a bright purple amethyst material that stretches all around the furnace. Fire can peek through the gaps of the amethyst when the furnace is lit, adding a nice detail you can’t miss. Depending on the time, you may find your furnace bright purple or dark and bright orange with bright burning logs.

Danger Zone Sleeping Bag

The Danger Zone Sleeping Bag is a member of the Danger Zone collection, which consists of several other deployable skins. This one is no different than the others, featuring a bright white skull logo and a helmet with two AKs coming out the sides of him. While the bag design is simple, the green and brown base might make your bag hard to find in the forest.

Protector Sheet Metal Double Door

The last deployable in this Rust item store is the Projector Sheet Metal Double Door, which is created from bright aluminum scraps that have gaps you can actually see through in-game. Centered on the middle of the door are hazard signs warning of radioactive material. This could be a great item to add to your Rust account as it is one of the few Sheet Metal Double Doors with a transparent section.

Bird of Luck Crossbow

The final item added to this week’s Rust item store is the Bird of Luck Crossbow. This is a colorful crossbow based on the idea of a peacock with its bright, colorful feathers stretching all across the crossbow, and its unique and bright colors manage to sneak their way into every part of this skin. The beautiful crossbow is nothing less than a piece of art.
