Rust Skin Guides

Blackout Backpack

Blackout Backpack

The first skin added to the Rust item store is the Blackout Backpack. This continuation of the collection that most people agree to be the best in the game is an all-black backpack perfect for blending into the dark. Sleek, slick, and simple, the Blackout Backpack is able to be mixed and matched with almost any skin in the game, making it a versatile backpack skin to pair with your existing sets.

Large Hazmat Backpack

Large Hazmat Backpack

Next up, and the second Large Backpack skin added to the Rust item store, is the Large Hazmat Backpack. The skin was specifically made to allow the large backpack to pair perfectly with the default hazmat suit, with the backpack having the same colors and design as the suit itself. If you find yourself running around in hazmat suits a lot, then don’t miss out on this skin.

Frozen Crypt Garage Door

Frozen Crypt Garage Door

The Frozen Crypt Garage Door is a bright blue frozen-over crypt that seems to stretch infinitely between the head and jaw of a massive skull. Three red jewels can be spotted on top, with a frozen-over metal design running along the edge of the door. Whether you use the eerie garage door as a sign to other people not to mess with you or just because you like the skin, it is still a great Rust skin you’d be mistaken to miss out on.

Popstar Assault Rifle

Popstar Assault Rifle

The first weapon added to the Rust item store this week is the Popstar Assault Rifle. The colorful skin features a bright Popstar centered on the skin, which is very visible when holding or reloading the weapon. In a post by the creator, they stated that the design was originally intended for a CS2 skin a long time ago. However, after the skin wasn’t accepted, the creator decided to retry and turn the design into a Rust skin, which was a great decision by them as their amazing skin was accepted into the game.

Nuke Room Locker

Nuke Room Locker

The Nuke Room deployable collection is seen as another continuation in this Rust item store, with the introduction of locker skin. The Nuke Room Locker features the same green and glowing orange design as the rest of the collection, with massive nuclear symbols and a keypad hooked to a computer system in the middle of the locker. It would be wrong not to appreciate all the intricate details and glowing designs of Rust’s newest locker skin.

Wolf Warrior Wooden Door

Wolf Warrior Wooden Door

The Wolf Warrior Wooden Door looks straight out of The Witcher series with its medieval runic design and the massive metal wolf that you can find on the front of the skin. On the back of the door, you can find a spear and shield, along with two torches that are ready for you any time you need to defend your base. The runes, eyes of the wolf, and both torches all glow on this stunning wooden door skin.

Thanksgiving Turkey Rock

Thanksgiving Turkey Rock

With this Thursday’s Rust item store landing on the same day as Thanksgiving, it makes sense that Rust appreciates the holiday in the form of a new skin. This year, we’ve received a Thanksgiving Turkey Rock with the massive turkey resting in a basket full of garnishes and berries. The back of the turkey is stuffed with a giant apple while the rest of it remains perfectly cooked. Whether you celebrate Thanksgiving or not, we can all agree that this is a new, silly addition to Rust.

BrainStorm SMG

BrainStorm SMG

The BrainStorm SMG is the second weapon skin introduced to this week’s Rust item store. The trippy Custom SMG skin is made of graffiti-style monsters of all different shapes and sizes. The most visible monster is a massive green cyclops with a wide open mouth and snacks on candy, and it looks like you’re feeding the monster your bullets every time you’re reloading. The rest of the skin is covered in monsters of various colors, with their own story happening on the skin, forming a creative skin that, just like the name implies, is sure to make you think.

Tank Armor SAR

Tank Armor SAR

The final skin introduced to the Rust item store is the Tank Armor SAR. This war-battered skin is formed completely out of the scraps of an old tank with rusted green sheet metal held together by bolts and straps of cloth. The tank armor design of the skin was made to pair with the Tank Armor metal set, which is made of the same worn tank metal material. The SAR is perfect for camouflage use or if you’re a corps in the army looking to spice up your arsenal.
