Rust Item Store: Rust Skins Weekly Rotation Review (11/14)
It’s Thursday, which means the Rust item store has finally rotated, bringing with it eight new skins to the market this time for you to add to your collection. Let’s look at this week’s Rust Item Store rotation.
For more Rust skin guides, check out our blog
Metallic Beast
The first skin added to the Rust Item Store is the Metallic Beast skin for the bear rug. The skin reimagines the bear rug as a rugged metal carpet made of scrap and barbed wire. Instead of a bear head, there is the head of a metal amalgamation. There are only 7 bear rug skins in Rust, and with this being the cheapest out of them all, it’s definitely worth checking out.
Commando SAR
Next up is the Commando SAR. This Semi-Automatic skin brings a modern military finish to replace Rust’s classic handmade design. Its carbon-fiber body combined with its bright red iron sights creates a sleek, detailed skin that’s sure to spice up your arsenal.
Neon Bismuth SMD
The Neon Bismuth Sheet Metal Door is the 4th Neon Bismuth deployable added to the Rust item store, with the other three all being variants of doors. It features the classic, colorful spectrum of bismuth with a neon light outlining it and neat engravings that elevate the door from basic to elegant. The Neon Bismuth collection is another beautiful set of deployables for Rust and has yet to miss.
Ultramarine Metal Chestplate and Facemask
The next skins added to the Rust item store are a pair of Metal Plate armor with a Metal Chestplate and Facemask. The Ultramarine collection is a set of skins made of black and purple rocks. The rocks look loosely connected, creating neat patterns of cracks and purple lights that seem to peek through. Neatly enough, however, the skins do not glow at night despite having a light, meaning that you won’t have to worry about getting spotted at night time and time again due to issues with glowing.
Greening Area Large Box
The Greening Area collection has seen a lot of love from Rust this year, with this being the fourth deployment from the collection that has been put in the Rust item store this year alone. It is a box made of green-like rocks with a bright white outline and glowing light, making it stand out in the dark. The Greening Area Large box is great for any green lovers out there.
Nuke Room Small Box
Another glowing box skin has been added to this week’s Rust item store, this time for the small box, which was added in the shape of the Nuke Room Small Box. The nuclear skin, part of the Nuke Room collection, is green with bright orange lights. The box is designed to look as if it were carrying a nuke inside it that could explode at any minute.
Owl Totem
The final skin added to the market this week is the Owl Totem Assault Rifle. The Owl Totem uses Native American culture to create a handmade rifle that uses the unique beads, feathers, and cloth the Native Americans are known for. Its main design is a hand-painted owl that stares off into the distance. The Owl Totem pays great appreciation to the Native American culture and is a wonderful addition to Rust overall.
