Rust Skin Guides

Death’s Gate

The most popular skin added so far this week is the Death’s Gate Sheet Metal Double Door. This standalone item, not part of any collection, features the doors to hell with bright orange lights coming out of every crevice and skulls lining the door up and down as their bones stretch across the door into the darkness.

Spooky Neon Large Box

The Spooky Neon Large Box is the next Rust skin added to this week’s shop and is part of the Holiday Neon collection. This collection features Neon boxes for Christmas, Halloween, and Easter. If you want to spice up your base for the Halloween season, look no further than this large box of skin.

Nightmare Clown Collection

nightmare clown collection

The Nightmare Clown Collection is a three-piece set of Rust skins for the Improvised Balaclava, Burlap Shirt, and Burlap Trousers. The balaclava is the simplest out of the three, just being a white and black mask with poorly done makeup and a bright red nose. The burlap shirt takes a step up with red and white stripes going down the side of the skin and three big red buttons going straight down the middle. Finally, the pants can not be forgotten as they add the final detail, an intricate set of polka dots that go down the left leg as the red and white strips continue to hoist themselves down the right. The artist behind these skins, Duck, was sure not to miss as the collection’s creepy colors and realistic looks are sure to creep out any Rust player with a fear of clowns.

Tomb Storage Box

Next up on our list of Rust skins, we have the Tomb Storage Box. It features a tombstone as a small box with candles surrounding the outside. If you view it from the top, you will be able to notice a glowing skull with a wing stretching across the box.

Ghost Halloween L96

The Ghost Halloween L96 is one of the most intricately designed L96’s in Rust. You can tell the artist, Mr. Vorana, put a lot of time and resources into this skin as the beautifully carved engravings of pumpkins, vines, and tombstones haunt the entirety of the skin, with scary elements covering every inch of it.

Neon Ghost Door

The Neon Ghost Door is a simple but sweet skin for the Sheet Metal Door. A neon blue ghost is outlined in the center of the door, with bats and stars flying above its head as spiders and their cobwebs drip below him. The door is one of 232 Sheet Metal Door Rust skins accepted into the Rust item store, and this skin sure didn’t miss the mark.

Mummy AR

Another skin accepted into the Rust item store this week was the Mummy AR. The outside of the skin is completely wrapped up in paper, like money, with its golden core peeking out between the cracks. A blue Eye of Horus can be spotted just below the rear sight.

Slime Monster Collection

The Slime Monster collection is the second collection accepted into this week’s Rust item store. It is another three-piece set, this time for road sign armor with a piece for the Coffee Can Helmet and The Road Sign Jacket and Kilt. The set comes together to form a Slime Monster with green ooze, drooping eyes, and splattered brains mixed with teeth scattered all over the skins.

Frankenbag

frankenbag

The Frankenbag may be one of the spookiest places to sleep at night as the sleeping bag skin is Frankenstein’s head just with a cutout between hair and brain to make room for a Human. The bag stitches Frankenstein’s face together with his glowing eyes, nose, mouth, and even wrinkles being present. Be careful not to wake the Frankenbag while you’re sleeping.

Necro Furnace

necro furnace

The last skin added this week is the Necro Furnace. It is a member of the Necro collection, which also features an AK and several armor pieces. The zombie-themed furnace has all the details you’d expect from a spooky skin with glowing eyes, rotten flesh, and exposed brains all being present. There is no scarier place to smelt your resources than inside the maw of the Necro Furnace.

That’s all for this week’s Rust store, if you enjoyed this review be sure to check out last week’s review which covered the second week of the Rust Halloween skins.
