Rust Building Skins
Like many other games, Rust has a plethora of DLC available to purchase. One of the most significant aspects of Rust is the building aspect of the game. Players build a base entirely to their liking anywhere over the vast island. The addition of building skins allows players to customize their base to the image that represents them the most! With the addition of 5 total building skins, Rust players can customize their base with just the click of a hammer tool!
Adobe Bundle
The Adobe DLC was the first of its kind to be added to Rust. It provided a whole new environment to Rust, as the island was no longer littered with stone bases. As usual, with the addition of new content, some individuals were worried about how skins like this would change the game. Overall, these bundles have been nothing but positive for the community. Adobe provides an ancient look to the traditional gray stone building skins.
Shipping Container Bundle
The shipping container skin is the only sheet metal skin in Rust. What makes this Building skin so unique is the ability to change the color of your base entirely to your liking! With a spray, players can change the color of their base in minutes, as this bundle has an abundance of colors to choose from. This skin completely changes the look of your base inside and out as you feel like you are living in a shipping container!
Brick Bundle
The Brick bundle was the second of the three stone building skins to be added. Brick provides a relaxed industrial view of one’s base. The intricate masonry allows your base to look as modern as ever! This skin is easy to apply: You simply need a hammer tool. With one click on a wooden building skin, you can upgrade it to brick! A developer must have put their heart and soul into this amazing display of a building skin because it is just stunning!
Brutalist Bundle
The Brutalist skin is the third of three stone-building skins in the game. At this point, you have no excuse not to update your inventory with one of these amazing stone skins! The Brutalist bundle brought a simpler feature to the game. It is a perfect counterpart to the default stone skin, as it features a more sleek, smooth design than the base stone. Brutalist is most definitely a purchase you don’t want to pass on!
Legacy Wood
The Legacy Wood skin is the first wood skin to be added to Rust! This skin provides a nostalgic feeling as it aligns so well with how early Rust looked. The rugged boarded-up design allows you to flex on your neighbor’s post-wipe, even if only primitively! Legacy also matches the wooden shack very well, so camouflage can be incorporated throughout one’s entire wipe!
Where can you buy Building skins?
These building skins and many other unique items can be purchased from the in-game Rust general item store! However, unlike other purchases, these skins are permanently attached to your account and cannot be traded or sold to other players.
