What is CS2 (CS:GO) gambling?

CS2 gambling involves using skins (virtual weapon camouflage) from the game Counter-Strike 2 as a form of currency. Gambling sites that accept CS2 skins will typically exchange them for on-site credits.

CS2 skin gambling was extremely popular from 2016 to 2018 until Valve, the creators of CS2, implemented a seven-day trade hold on any CS2 item traded between accounts. This means that if a user receives a skin from a trade, they must wait seven days before the skin can be traded to another account. Many CS2 skin gamblers have since switched to using cryptocurrencies due to the fast, easy, and secure nature of these payments.

How we create our reviews and ratings

Honest and reliable reviews are our top priority, so our readers can trust our information. With our extensive experience, we feel comfortable to create accurate reviews and ratings.

What goes into a website rating?
  • To gain a thorough understanding of a website, we speak with players who have extensive experience playing on or using the service.
  • Taking a deep dive into the history and details of the website, as it helps us ensure that our reviews are accurate and informative.
  • We personally test the website to ensure that we fully understand its features and functionality.

What is P2P CS2 skin trading?

Peer-to-peer CS2 skin trading began soon after CS2 skins received a seven-day trade cooldown. Before this update, players could send the same skin back and forth to each other thousands of times per day without restrictions. Unfortunately, this is no longer possible, and players must wait seven days after a trade is complete before they can trade the skins again.

Websites using CS2 skins commonly have a P2P skin trading system, where the website connects a buyer and seller to trade with each other directly. Peer-to-peer trading is a massive improvement, as websites typically have numerous Steam accounts to receive and send trades, but the trading cooldown would severely restrict them. P2P also benefits skin traders, who can now list their items on numerous skin marketplaces or skin betting sites.

Martingale

Place a small bet to cash out at a 2x multiplier. If the bet is a loss, repeat the bet and double the amount previously wagered. Continue the process until there is a win, giving back all previous losses and the original 2x reward.
A long streak of losses will drain your balance to zero, so having a tiny original bet amount is recommended since the size of the bets can exponentially increase on a losing streak.

Reverse martingale

Instead of doubling your bet after losing, as in the martingale, the reverse martingale does the opposite. For example, place a bet and double the wager if you win. Then, continue until you are satisfied, and if you lose, you return to the original bet size.

The reverse martingale only risks the original small bet amount and what is won afterward. No crash strategy will give you better odds than the casino has against you, so only wager what you are willing to lose.
